Projectiles
Projectiles have a number of properties that affect their cost and how they behave. Defences also affect how projectiles behave - reflect, deflect and redirect can strip the movement-altering behaviours of projectiles. This behaviour is present in both FF and FFvTTR.

Chained projectiles have a critical behaviour difference in FFvTTR when striking a defence after an initial target - instead of continuing their trajectory back through the target (like the first game) they lock-in the same 'next target' and will continue to rebound between the initial target and the second unit with a defence.
Ping-pong minigame


Create a custom character with a zero-magnitude piercing projectile attack with no stun or knockback. This guarantees the power costs 0 prestige, so it can be made very fast, with 0 ep cost, flight spawning, homing and most importantly, chained. Make sure NOT to make this power 'enemies only'. Also give your character 300-percenter, some speed, endurance and energy regen.

Start a mission and bring this character & minuteman along. Run minuteman just past the enemy and use National Guard. Apply 300-percenter to your custom character and shoot the enemy. Keep minuteman very close to the enemy's back & side and it should deal a constant stream of 2 damage hits to the enemy.

Note: This also works with Tricolor's Reflexive Swat.
