culprit was Nanu's Dynamic Regiments of Renown - Yet Another Compatibility Megapack

its outdated, though the other companion mod for vanilla units works fine so just some compatibility weirdness going on. thank you for your mods! i use them every time i play B)

youre right its definitely something on my end. works fine with just expanded roster and this submod. apologies. will report back when/if i find the conflict

Try to enable only Expanded Roster compilation and this submod, and check if numbers are double

having trouble getting this to work right. none of the expanded roster units have 2x size but every other submod works right. doesnt seem to matter if this is above or below expanded roster in the load order
