Artifacts around your home base
Artifact 1 - Toy Rocket
This rocked used to explore imagined galaxies in the mind of a little boy. Before I woke up in the capsule, I clasped it to my chest like the greatest of treasures. This toy must connect me to someone I can't remember. A child... my son? Who can give me an answer? Where did everyone go?

Located next to the player when you start the game.

Artifact 2 - Diary Page
...even though it means nothing, I'm going to continue my report. The looters haven't attacked again since my last entry. My master and I are alone on the roof. We're running out of resources, however, the foray into the depths of the building was successful. What I found down there will help my master survive. There is a slight chance that I can...

Located in the ruined campfire in the starter area.

Artifact 3 - Theseus Tech Booklet
Are you bothered by memories of past mistakes? Come see us, we';ll add a blank space to your memory. You don't have a problem if you can't remember it! (This procedure may cause migraines, recurrent deja-vu and surprises in the future).

Located next to the lounge in the starter area.

Artifact 4 - Cosmopolis Postcard
Cosmopolis. Welcome to the city of billions, where dreams come true! It seems that this futuristic Garden of Eden was neglected and withered away. And an actual garden grew and flourished on its ruins.

Located in the locked area directly behind Earl, which is accessed on Day 2 after removing the leech from the switch board that controls the security door.

Artifact 5 - Sir Peabody's Book
With illustrations! Always remember that good manners and gentlemanly behavior are important in any situation! When the evacuation began, Sir Peabody pushed aside women and children to be first on the ship. And he didn't even take off his hat in the presence of ladies. Courtesy! It's the first thing to desert us in an emergency.

Purchased from the Eco Vending Machine for 100 tokens in the area that becomes accessible after obtaining the Tempered Drill.

Artifacts from expeditions (1)
Artifact 6 - Electrosite Collection Figurine
Crafted at 1:24 scale, hand-painted. The last product line from a once-popular company. It was a risky project and didn't pay off. No one wanted a plastic electrosite on their sleeves when the real ones were swarming just outside their windows. The company's main office became an impromptu aquarium.

Purchased from Ocscar's Furniture and Appliances for 100 tokens.

Artifacts across the bridge
Artifact 7 - Jungo
The name of this game comes from the Swahili word for "build"! It was invented ages ago, when humans first started exploring space.

Located beside the pool.

Artifact 8 - Chess
Many android chess players would spend evenings in the central park, but one particulr duo attracted all the attention. These mechanical masterminds could battle for days on end, and their final game lasted a week. It looked like they simply powered down, but when the city perished and a wave rose above the square, one of these slow-moving chess players said "check" and managed to move their rook.

Use Earthworms and fish at the hotel rooftop pool where you'll catch Electric Eels, Large Bugeyed and Shock-Suckered Squid. Eventually you'll also catch the chess pieces (It took me about 15 casts).

Artifact 9 - Cosmoboy
Every child used to dream of playing. Build ships, aim and fire! The knock-off blasters didn't shoot blue lasers like the licensed ones.

Located in the grassy area to the left of the bridge (near the stage).

____________________________________________

Artifact 10 - Vinyl Record
A white record of sultry electro swing songs. Retro diva Miss Mariquinn's contralto and unique style used to fill every music hall.

Located on a speaker on the stage.

____________________________________________

Artifact 11 - Disco Club Pass
Free food included! There parties grew to be legendary and all the best DJs wanted to play at them. On the night of the evacuation, the owner of the club announced entry would be free. He made the drinks and flipped the vinyls all by himself. Why fly away when you can dance until you drop? Or at least until the power goes out and the music dies away forever.

Purchased from the area's ECO Vending Machine for 100 coupons.

Artifact 12 - Robotics Constructor Kit
You can build a pet or far-reaching vacuum cleaner, or a hybrid of both those things. This is a great toy for a future robotics engineer.

Located on the lounge to the right of the ECO Vending Machine.

Artifacts from expeditions (2)
Artifact 13 - Crystal Ball
Looters robbed the arcade, but in their hurry they may have missed something useful. The ceiling looks like it's about to cave in. The building is falling apart.

Located at the Arcade in the Business Centre district.

Note: the Smart Tower needs to be upgraded to level 2 before you can access the district.

Artifact 14 - Basketball
In Cosmopolis, genetic engineering started losing popularity in favor of androids. Sporing events always attracted tons of people. The crowds went wild! And then when the electrosites came, all the games were canceled. The invaders sucked the energy out of all the teams' starters. Darkness covered the sports stadiums...

Randomly rewarded for decoding a Digital Storage Cell.

Artifacts around the basketball court
Floor Patch - After completing the Homecoming Party you'll be able to fix the roof and access areas previously unavailable, including the basketball court. Create a Floor Patch and when accessed in the hotbar, it will highlight all possible places it can be installed by way of a white grid. Lay them down to form a path across gaps into new areas.

The following artifacts are all located around the basketball court.

Artifact 15 - Chewed-Up Sneaker
Someone managed to chew up this poor sneaker. It's a tough time being a lost athletic shoe in a world where weeds have sharp teeth. These soles once took a basketball player straight to the hoop. The size label is still visible 42/43.

Located under the basketball ring.

____________________________________________

Artifact 16 - Pumpkin Festival Ad
You've never seen Jack o'Lanterns this big before! When the ever-present weeds got into the flesh and poisonous smoke started pouring from the eyeholes, the pumpkins were scarier than ever. But there was no one around to appreciate the skill of the growers and frightening beauty of nature.

The Pumpkin Festival Ad is located inside the microwave on the left side of the basketball court.

Artifact 17 - Tennis Racket
Slick, kick, flat - these are all types of serves you can perfect with a sturdy racket and a tennis ball. Tennis uses all your muscle groups and is an excellent calorie burner... which doesn't sound all that fun in a world where food is in short supply. The serial number is still visible on the handle: 5050.

Located next to the table tennis table.

Artifact 18 - Closed Sign
Sorry, we're closed. When the catastrophe started, most store owners hung signs with this sad statement on their doors. Once-bustling districts went quiet. An endless day of closed doors. The date is still here: 09.12.

Located on the ground in the area to the far right of the basketball court.

Artifact 19 - Photo of a Firefighter
Firefighter is the most respected job around. One day they stopped putting out the flames. Instead, firefighting teams were given flamethrowers and told to destroy the infected areas. The fires lit up the night. The smoke made everyone's eyes water. On the back of the photo is a half-faded caption: Honey, this isn't the job I always dreamed of doing.

Located inside the kettle near the Closed Sign artifact.

Artifact 20 - Pop Sci Magazine
Judging by the footnotes, the authors couldn't come to a unanimous conclusion about what they are: sentient lifeforms colonizing the planet, or a technology that allows aliens to siphon electricity. There were 4500 copies printed.

Located on the table undercover in the top right corner, just past the basketball court.

Artifact 21 - Protein
Protein is just that: pure, dietary protein with no added ingredients. Great for anyone trying to put on muscle mass fast, best when paired with consistent workouts and eating well. The price is on the container: 2387 U-coins.

Located on the ground on the back left side of the basketball court.

____________________________________________

Artifact 22 - The Barbell
There's no weightlifting or powerlifting without a barbell. You can make one with your own two hands: just use a rebar for the bar, and some car tires for weights. These ones have numbers on them: 51 and 51.

Located behind a ring of metal to the right of the basketball court. Requires an Impact Drill to access.
Artifacts from expeditions (3)
Artifact 23 - Music Album
A gold-plated synth disc shaped like a framed gramophone record. It's engraved with the words: 'Mary Kay' and 'Greatest Hits'. The back is autographed.

Purchased from Clara's Gift Shop in the Historical Centre for 150 U-coins each, which becomes available after the Welcoming Party.

____________________________________________

Artifact 24 - Fridge Magnet
The magnet shows Cosmopolis at the height of its prosperity, and you can see the cozy restaurant where Earl whipped up his culinary creations.

Purchased from Clara's Gift Shop in the Historical Centre for 150 U-coins each, which becomes available after the Welcoming Party.

____________________________________________

Artifact 25 - Playing Card
A collectible card showing a smiling man in a top hat and cloak. It says 'Master Prospero'. A limited edition from Stars of the Circus.

Purchased from Clara's Gift Shop in the Historical Centre for 150 U-coins each, which becomes available after the Welcoming Party.

Artifact 26 - Zen Picture
Collectible pictures that can calm you down, if the ads are to be believed. Zen ideals in service of commerce and indiscriminate consumption.

Purchased from Clara's Gift Shop in the Historical Centre for 150 U-coins each, which becomes available after the Welcoming Party.

Artifact 27 - Locator
A little tracker that can help you see things our eyes can't pick up.

After the Welcoming Party you'll start to increase relations with your friends. Once Prospero is a close friend (50 rep) he'll give you a quest to go to the Carnival, located in the Port district.

Complete a series of events which will end with you obtaining the Locator.
Artifacts in the entertainment zone
If you've been following the main questline, this will likely be the last artifact to find.

Artifact 28 - Ad Brochure
Visit the municipal website and get the latest city news. Plus, get even more exercises from Cosmopolis' strongest man online.

Stuck to the side of a camera located in the top left of the entertainment zone, which is accessible after defusing the bomb.
