Character Creation Choices Guide

I just started this lovely little game, and got immediate sidetracked by the involved story based prologue that serves as character creation.

So then, here we are. A few hours later - instead of playing the game, I meticulously went through all the options, noting down all the effects they seem to have.
If you happen to suffer from my own affliction, and came here to check if somebody had already done the work for you, you're very welcome.

You are more than welcome to use this as a general guide if you're trying to build a character a certain way, and do not wish to waste hours just to see all options. Still, I would suggest going by vibes in the end - because I highly doubt the raw stats are all that truly matters here.

So, before we head in, a few interesting things I noticed:
- The final total points pool you end up, by default 21 (and what you get if you opt to not do the story, but allocate points manually for a quick start), can actually be as high as 24 in my tests, provided you choose Academic and all the best answers for the most potential points. Which you can then safely re-allocate to your more desired stats in the end, anyway. I believe even your background can be switched based on your highest points skill group, regardless of what you chose, or at least that's how it works if you skip the prologue.

I'm pretty sure that the 'what are you doing when the news reaches you' choice of 'at work' is based on your job, because I kept getting Acucity+1 when I selected that when an academic. Also, it gives you a little bit of money in addition.

Also, the option to suck it up and do your job as part of the 'dig' gives you money.

Some dialogue choices are clear, but some are quite obscured.

Does the other choises made, with the obvious exception of career selection, have influence in the game? For example, the selection of what happens when you enjoy leave from work, the broken arm/leg or stomach damage?

Probably needs confirmation, but I think you can bounce to 0 on the negative events.

can you level the stats up during the game? I'm asking cuz i maxed out impress and it might've been a waste.
