Welcome!
Intro
This is the achievement guide for RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished business which is a new stand alone adventure following the events of Rogue City, where you battle the enemies that have taken over OmniTower (OCP's latest housing project). You may play through the game naturally and not even need a guide, but if you do miss one or two achievements then hopefully this guide will help. You are able to re-load a previous autosave to go back and obtain any missed achievements which is super convenient. Let’s get into the guide!

Important to note:
  • All of these can be snagged in one playthrough
  • While there technically are missables; you can re-load previous mission autosaves
  • You can play on the easiest difficulty to get the 100%
  • This game takes around 8-10 hours to get all achievements
  • Rated as an Easy game to perfect
  • Has been reported that skipping cutscenes can cause some achievements not to trigger!
Specific Task Achievements
I've listed all achievements in the order that you'll get unlock them as you play through the game so you can keep up with all task achievements by mission. (There are 14 in total) As you play through the story, most of these you will probably unlock by playing naturally but some require a task to be completed first. Have fun and enjoy the story/gameplay!

------------------------------------------------------------

Mission 2: Lion's Den

Thank You for Your Noncooperation - Eliminate any enemy by performing a finisher.

You'll get to a certain point in the mission when your objective is to "reach the information desk" and this is where you're told about takedowns...you can't miss it. There are plenty of opportunities to unlock this in almost every mission for the rest of the game.

Insider - Gain a mysterious ally.

This is technically story related and can't be missed. After activating the computer, this achievement will pop.

Part Man, Part Machine, All Correct - Pass RoboCop's fan test.

Once you reach the point of the mission where you have to protect the innocent, you'll have to breach into three different areas. After rescuing the RoboCop fan, he'll ask you four questions and you have to answer correctly to unlock the achievement. The answers are:
  • 1. (Say Prime Directives)
  • 2. Metro West and Metro North
  • 3. OCP Crime Prevention Unit 001
  • 4. He became RoboCop 2

By the Book - Score "A" on any evaluation.

This can be unlocked on any mission except mission 1 since you need an evaluation. Obtaining an "A" score will unlock this achievement, which means you need to accumulate 2500 XP or more. Mission 2 is by far the easiest to get this achievement, as the objectives are super straightforward. Focus on completing the primary objective (1000 XP), the secondary objectives (100 XP - 500 XP each), investigations (100 XP - 500 XP each), and police work (100 XP - 500 XP each). Police work examples are: fake money, drugs, incriminating evidence etc. that you come across as you progress through the mission. This is probably the hardest achievement in the game, just because it requires the most effort.

------------------------------------------------------------

Mission 3: Down the Rabbit Hole

Quicksilver - Stop the trash compactor in less than 40 seconds.

As soon as the mission starts, you'll have 40 seconds to shoot all 8 control panels on the walls. Don't worry, if you fail, you can just restart from checkpoint and try again. There is one to your right when you first spawn, and then just navigate along the path taking them out two at a time until the last one is hidden by itself. As long as you don't leave the room to go to the next area, the checkpoint will be right at the start.

Petting Protocol Activated - Pet a cat.

During the objective "ask the bartenders for gate access", you'll come across a cat near one of the four bartenders. Petting it unlocks the achievement, and if you miss this one, there are more cats found on Mission 10 that you can pet so don't fret.

Identify Yourself - Learn the identity of your mysterious ally.

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed. You'll unlock it a ways into the mission during the objective "reach the main technical room".

------------------------------------------------------------

Mission 4: The Weight of the Badge

We killed you! - Get eliminated as Alex Murphy.

You'll be able to unlock this after you take control of Alex Murphy in the past. All you have to do is die & if you're playing on Easy, you can turn the difficulty up to die pretty fast.

------------------------------------------------------------

Mission 7: Ice and Steel

Sayonara - Kill an Otomo prototype with a katana.

There will be a new enemy that you'll come across called Otomo prototypes. They are robots that wield katana swords, wear a suit, and a mask. All you have to do is kill one, pick up the sword, and then throw the katana at another one to unlock this.

Brutally Honest - Upset a child.

When you get to the part of the mission where the objective is to follow Stella to a gate, instead of following her, veer off to the right, and talk to the artistic child. See Map Location below You'll find him with a sketch book sitting on a bench by himself. Help him by answering the first questions however you want, but when he asks "What do you think Mr. police officer?" you have to select "Some details are missing" to get the achievement.

Miranda's Secret - Read a digital message about Miranda's past.

When you get to the part of the mission when the objective is "search Miranda's office", interact with her computer & read all three emails. After leaving the computer the achievement will pop.

------------------------------------------------------------

Mission 9: Urban Pacification

Mind the step! - Experience ED-209's biggest weakness.

After taking control of ED-209, the goal is to try to go down a flight of stairs which will cause an insta-death and award you with an achievement because ED-209's can't go down stairs. The first staircase is located after the long hallway filled with mines...the quest marker originally takes you toward a short set of stairs but then changes after Miranda comments on it. Try to go down the stairs to unlock this!

------------------------------------------------------------

Mission 10: The Lethal Gambit

Trash Day - Destroy an Otomo prototype using a trash compactor.

As you go through the mission, you'll come to a portion where you can't fire your weapon because the room with go up in flames and kill everybody. Once you get to the last room in the section, you'll notice a big trash compactor in the middle of the room on the floor. Override the security system as part of the story, and you'll have a lot of Otomo protoype enemies coming at you....just grab one of them and throw them into the trash compactor on the floor.

Your Move Cupid - Help Steve propose to Stella.

As you go about the mission, you'll come to a point where you have to shut down two consoles in two separate security bunker rooms. Security Outpost Gate B has Steve in it, and the objective is to kill the two enemies in it before they kill Steve so that he can live and eventually propose to Stella. Just breach the door and headshot both enemies, they're really close to you.
Story Related Achievements
All of these are listed by their mission in the order you'll unlock these. You won't have to worry about keeping up with these, as they will pop as you get through each mission in the game. (There are 11 in total) Remember, you can play on any difficulty you want, it does not affect any achievements!

A useful guide. Thank you.

I did note on the part man / part machine achievement that id answered the first question with a quote rather than the Prime Directives and was still able to get to the second question.

Weird that the ‘insider’ achievement didn’t unlock for me, I’m assuming it’s because I always skip cutscenes lol I loaded up that chapter again and this time let the cutscene play out and the achievement appeared. So I guess it can be missable if you don’t watch cutscenes?? Appreciate the guide need for the robocop fan test :steamhappy:
