Castles & Crusaders - Meta Campaign V1.2

Beskrivning
What is Castles & Crusaders and Meta Ruleset?
The Meta Ruleset is a cooperative combined arms tabletop roleplaying wargame built as a simple set of rules for players needing structure to run large scale tactical combat. From the more classical tropes of castle sieges and cavalry charges to the more fantastical elements of flying monsters and magic, the Meta Ruleset works for any number of players needed for any size group. “Castles & Crusaders” has no established lore, but is set in a High-Fantasy setting, complete with swords, knights, wizards, violent beasts, flying creatures, and of course, dragons.

Core Mechanics
Components: What you need to play in person!
Miniatures / Icons: This is a miniatures-focused wargame after all! Digital or physical doesn't matter. Castles and Crusaders is a mini agnostic ruleset meaning not only can you play with any minis you already have but you can play at whatever scale your space can support. Be it 8mm tiny minis or standard 28mm heroic scale. Part of the fun is finding minis that fit your needs!
The Unit Stats: This booklet comes with all the basic unit statistics you’ll need to get started. These stats tell you all about each unit, its strengths and weaknesses.
Some Dice: One or more Standard 7-piece dice sets (d100, d20, d12, d10, d8, d6, d4) are recommended. Currently, rules only require d10, d8, and d6, but more may be added later!
Intention Indicators: Color-coded tokens are available in this booklet to print and cut out. These tokens allow players to easily keep track of order types, where a player would like to move, and what direction they will face on the battlefield during planning and combat.
Hit Markers: Some small object to mark when a Cavalry or Warbeast unit has taken a Hit. Included in this booklet are printable hit markers, but really anything will work.
Measuring Tool: Depending on the size of your table, you’ll want some kind of measuring tool to move your units around the battlefield and check weapon ranges. Measuring tapes or a ruler works great. We measure from the center of the base / token.
Digital Assets: In long-form play-by-post campaigns, the game can be played entirely digitally! My assets can be made available to you, or you are welcome to use your own!
