Word Play Helper
Stuck with a bad hand and no refreshes? Not a native speaker, and having a hard time coming up with long words? Simply want to mess around with different builds without worrying too much about spelling? Then this tool is for you!

The Word Play Helper is a super simple website that takes the letters you have available and instantly shows you every word you can form with them.

Disclaimer: This is an unofficial, fan-made tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Game Maker's Toolkit. Both the tool and code are free and always will be.

Features
  • Input your current letter grid (including bonus tiles).
  • Search for all possible words with your current letters, ordered by length.
  • Filter results by prefix (start), suffix (end), infix (contains).

There are tons of ways this tool could be improved, and I'm open to suggestions! Feel free to leave any ideas or bug reports in the comments, or as an issue on Github [github.com]. If you're a developer, or interested in learning, contributions are totally welcome c:
Isn't this cheating!?
IMHO since Word Play is a singleplayer game with no leaderboards, the only rule is to have fun! If there's ever a competitive scene, or if you feel that trivializing this part of the game makes it super boring, then obviously don't use this tool!

In any case, this tool is not enough to make you win. It's an assistant, not a solver. Choosing the best words to maximize your score still depends on your Perks, Modifiers, Upgrades, and your build's synergies.
Why even make this?
Plenty of reasons. But mostly because there's plenty of "scrabble solvers" and "word unscramblers" out there, but none of them consider the specific word list available in Word Play, nor do they have all the features I wanted for my own use.

how is the progress on adding multi-letter tiles going?

So, cheating then?

Thanks everybody for the feedback and support!!! :D:

I just released version 1.1, introducing:
- Collapsible result subsections. Thanks @Dominic for the idea!
- Wildcard tiles. Thanks @Viralsiren for the idea!
- Updated the word list, hopefully matching the game's words much better now (if anybody finds discrepancies, please let me know)

Multi letter tiles (like Qu/Ers/Ing) require a rework of the algorithm, but they're my next priority (sorry for the delays here)

@Lustre a better way of transferring letters would be awesome, but I'm not really sure what other option there could be other than modding the game itself. Ideas are welcome!

Nice! May I ask where you got the word list from?

it would be awesome if we could add wildcard tiles (*) to the grid!

There are already tools out there for something like this, but this is good for people who don't want to search. I just wish there was an easier way to transfer the letters to the input, instead of having to type them all out every single time.

This so helpful! Thank you! It always sucked when I used upgrades on letters only to realize my word didnt count
