its more "DJMAX, EZ2ON" user interface on PC.
I barely know XX have its Mobile port.
Half-Double style can be "NEW" if you consider only play in 6 Key
but Double chart can be Half Double, as Arcade / Mobile can play in full 10 pad/key.

For Single chart, there are new charts, while may seem identical to Arcade.
but RISE come with 14 brand new song NOT in Arcade now. (up to RISE 0.3.1)

ONLY DOING CHALLENGE mode will NOT give any exp.

WARM UP and DIVISION now give same amount of exp.

of course, PREFECT GAME, FULL COMBO, NO MISS give some bonus.

it might take 10~12hrs gameplay for full unlock, no more unlock beyond Lv.100 now.

Game now will show what player level you need to unlock that song.

Clear the song with "NO MISS" in DIVISION MODE.

you can view it later in BREAK TIME by press F1.


Clear in WARM UP won't unlock.

Clear the song with "FULL COMBO" in DIVISION MODE.


PREFECT > FULL COMBO > NO MISS

Basically :
If you NO MISS, only BGA is rewarded.
if you FULL COMBO, you will get the plate and BGA.

Everything beyond PRO must clear its previous challenge.
Each DIVISION difficutly is decided by your last cleared CHALLENGE.

(Without any Badge) = WARM UP ONLY
Beginner = Lv.5
Amateur = Lv.10
Adpet = Lv.14
ADVANCED = Lv.18
PRO = Lv.19
ELITE = Lv.20
VETERAN = Lv.21
EXPERT = Lv.22
MASTER = Lv.23
LEGEND = Lv.25 & Above (current highest chart level 27)

Short Answer : NO, only reflect your skill and how good you are in this DIVISION difficulty

Long and more details answer:

Every DIVISION
has BATTLE category
Leaderboard rank by all 6~8 songs (separate by playstyle)
every time you clear the song, the floor count goes up, Only reset till you in HIGHER DIVISION.

has its own difficulty chart leaderboard (based on your current DIVISION Rank, ie. Adapt, Pro)
indicate by "L" mark , once you CLEAR it, press F6 to view the leaderboard






About Player Badge , Press F1 , Go to "Makeup"
and hit E till you see "Badge"
It always awarded on first time pass the CHALLENGE
by doing song in "BATTLE"
if you on higher DIVISION, and FULL COMBO
any lower level FULL COMBO badge will unlock for you.






"Lightning" badge only give out when you clear all song in "BATTLE"
(include Half-Double chart) , doing that also unlock an Achievement

Self-explanatory, marked as you PREFECT/FULL COMBO/NO MISS in that chart.

in Arcade (especially after XX?), you get a rating depend on your performance.
(PREFECT / ULTIMATE / EXTREME / SUPERB) and grade range from F~SSS

side note, from dev message in Discord, you may keep those record for usual song.
may reset season to season on "BATTLE" category.

So, here's the screenshot.

BEFORE you start, This is the most "case by case" adjustment, if you feel comfortable with default or your own timing,skip this part. Thanks to daryen in PIU Official Discord for Arcade timing explain.

In Arcade, Judge timing just adjust the correct timing earlier or later
when change how tight/loose on "PREFECT or GREAT" ,its "HJ" (Hard Judgement).

Start with 0.2.1 Update, you can test/tweak your timing in more direct, easier to know way.
you can always readjust/test it press F1->Options->Tutorial Beta and hit TAB to begin.

To begin, let's start with Judgement Time


as you can see, not all the step zone measure your step timing,
when you step on the note closer to the red line, better step result comes in
(hence PREFECT, GREAT, GOOD...)

GAME WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOU, unless you have serious reason to change that.
I would suggest to just leave as it or slightly/minor change it.

Move on to the note output time

since you are playing "on VA/IPS/TN/OLED monitor or you just Moonlight/Streaming or else"
more likely you want change this to your preference.

Game will play first 10~12 sec of Winter in easiest step, with BPM tick.
once you complete 10 step ,it will add those offset (?) , minus two decimal places,
shown on AVERAGE, then give you are recommended output time.

Press F1, Go to "Options", Under "Gameplay" Tab.

By default, MISS sound effect is OFF, you can turn back on if you like.
