How to Nuke the Enemy Base [yamame.tuki]
By yamame.tuki
Hi, this is yamame :]
I am sharing a very basic story how to nuke an enemy base, simplified as much as possible.
So this is for newbies.
I have attached a video for those who cannot read or whose comprehension is limited by daily nuclear attacks.

...but how to nuke'em?

Bottom line
Stealth attack as fast as possible, from as close as possible, with as many bombs as possible.
1. equip Ifrit with 6 x PAB-125s, 2 x 250kt, and 2 x IRM-S2s.
2. dive at full speed at 45 degrees from 53,000-58,000 feet above the target and drop all bombs at a distance of 6.5 miles.
3. Intercept intercepting RAM-45s with your IRM-S2.
Detail
When an air attack hits a target in this game, a saturation attack is established. For the sake of convenience, we define a saturation attack as "the number of bombs you drop[A] that exceeds the number of rounds available for interception by the enemy [n] in the time available for interception by the enemy [t]. The reason for “for the sake of convenience” is that in this game, the interception rate of properly launched interceptors is almost 100%, so the success or failure of a saturation attack is simply determined by the relationship between quantity and time.

If A>n, the attack is successful. In other words, the interceptable time [t] should be as short as possible, and the more bombs should be dropped [A].

The interceptable time [t] is from the time the launch platform (your Ifrit) or bomb is detected until it crosses the interdiction limit point. Therefore, the shorter the detected distance, the less time the enemy has to intercept.

The reason why you should choose a stealth aircraft without external armament is that the detection distance depends on the size of the RCS - switch off the radar, of course, your radio signal is also visible to the opponent.

And in general, the faster you are, the less time it takes to travel a certain distance, so your fighter should move as fast as possible. Dive from an altitude of 53,000-58,000 ft at 45 degrees.

Why 45 degrees? Because the equation for isosceles right triangles is convenient. More simply, if you descend at 45 degrees at Ifrit's maximum speed [Mach 2.10], you can meet the 250 kt detonation requirement if you drop your bombs before the altitude drops below 24,267 ft. Or, to further simplify, drop the 250 kt at a distance of 6.5 miles or more in this case--if the target is pre-detected; 1.5 kt will get you much closer.
・The bombs are dropped in this order: 6 PAB-125s as decoys, then 2 250kt.
・If the enemy Boltstrike attempts to intercept the bombs(not your aircraft), intercept the RAM-45s with your 2 IRM-S2s.

SEAD/DEAD is the means to take out the [n] mentioned above. Especially the R9s and Boltstrikes, with their long range, should be destroyed as a top priority.

Also, a powerful means of detection--Medusa--is extremely effective in lengthening friendly [t] as much as possible. remember that Medusa's mere presence has the effect of forcing potential enemies to divert and limit their invasion routes. Medusa's mere presence has the effect of forcing potential adversaries to divert and limit their invasion routes.

Fleet – not a ship - are a very powerful means of augmenting this [n], but isolated ships are very vulnerable even if it‘s a Dynamo-class destroyer. Fleets can also force the enemy to either launch a massive coordinated attack or consume a huge amount of time, by just being there. This cost imposition is called “Fleet-in-Being”. Fleet-in-being can be an extremely effective strategy in this game, where ground facilities, which account for most of the victory conditions, are located in close proximity to each other - until the moment a noob ruins the formation.
the game needs more aces
The reason for writing this article is that I wanted to change the status quo in PvP, where several good pilots have the same process with the same results. When I was a child, like most Japanese, I was taught by my grandmother to Kill your enemy with all your might - so that when you meet him again in hell, you can say to your enemy, “You were a strong opponent”. I look forward to seeing you all in hell.

Sincerely yours :]

>I believe that relying on TOF/TIme of flight is better than altitude.

This may indeed be a reasonable point; since I wrote that it is for noobs, maybe I should draw their attention to the ToF figures. Idk whether a beginner can control the unstable behavior of the ToF or not.
but anyway thanks for your comment :]
