The map, materials and models are not included here. Instead, paste the following link into your browser.

Place the BlueShift folder into your sfm main directory where all the games are.

If SFM says you need to update the search paths, click the launch button from your steam library page and select SDK, when it opens, click on the edit search paths button and check the box next to BlueShift.

The map's name is bs_c0m0a_d, the included map in this item if you sub to it is not the map due to issues with the workshop.

In addition, i do take porting requests for Black Mesa, so leave those in the discussion if you have them, i'll do my best to get back to you.

Hmm. Check that everything is in the right folder. I've only gotten this complaint from one other person. I would suggest reinstalling.

hey so i download your models, the textures dont work, there ir something else that i need to do or?

Okay, I myself have taken a break from porting, but soon I will post a guide for porting. Basically, the BM engine runs on a modified version of the TF2 engine, as does SFM, but some things still dont work. The volumetric fog for instance. You can edit the maps in SFM hammer a bit to take out unnescicary features, and then simply load them in game. You can then fake things like the volumetric fog in SFM, using volumetric lights.

Hey, would you be willing to tell me how you ported Xengine maps to SFM? I would like to use my own maps in SFM but they don’t load by default. And, are CSM cascading shadows and StaticPropLighting3 compatible with SFM or will this cause issues?
