Single Player Tips
By e_rhymes_d
For some levels, Innchanted is pretty difficult in single player, especially when you're working with an AI that doesn't understand pathing or priority. Here are a few tips for chasing the 4 star achievements.

1.0 Introduction
So you've played this game, you've tried to look up a guide, you noticed how dead the community is, and you're really stuck on completing the game on 4 stars.

This guide will give you some tips on how to complete the game with 4 stars using the game AI. Some levels are harder than others.
2.0 General Tips
Chores
Before starting a level, you can select a random chore. These chores give you a small pool of encounters (over time you will know which answer to select). Here is the ranking of encounters, the buff you can get, and the reason why it's good (I won't list the debuff because you will learn which answer to avoid as you play).
  • Maintenance - Dispensers Start Full: this in my opinion is the best buff. If the level is relatively short, you may never need to fill your dispensers. There is a trick you can do - which is to start a level, fill all the dispensers, and then quit and re-enter the level. This will start the level again with all dispensers filled since dispenser "fullness" carries through each save.
  • Exploration - Golden Food: a golden food item appears, can be given to anyone to complete any type of order. Enchanted Spear: as it says, gives you an enchanted spear. - Move Faster: yeah, pretty good as the speed is a lot faster; it's a close second to having the dispensers start full; depending on the length of the level. If the level has thirsty monster this might be a better option (since feeding thirsty monsters will give you a refill cannsiter).
  • R&R - Faster Pour: fills potions faster, to be honest it's only marginally noticeable but could mean 1 or 2 seconds off your time if you are no good at doing a perfect pour. Dancing - does nothing.
  • Alchemy - Double or half in size? Not sure if this really has any actual impact.
  • Business - Monsters Give More: basically thirsty monsters drop double refill canisters, but doesn't really help with stars. Shells on tables: technically this is a debuff, but it's extra shells so not actually that bad, also doesn't help with stars. More Shells: as it says, also doesn't help with doing 4 stars.

Upgrades Matter
Decorations do not matter. Make sure you get the larger dispensers, faster cooking, potion duration, and save up for the fishing net (300 shells); do all the decorations after you've finished the game.

Know thy enemy
Knowing what will appear in the level helps to plan; during prep time you can quickly pump out important/difficult items. Playing through the level, and noting down how many of these occurrences exist, may help you preempt which potion you'll need.
  • If Colin will mess with you - prepare a rainbow potion in advance
  • If wombat riders or rocks - prepare orange potions in advance
  • If cursed monsters - prepare purple potions in advance
  • If shy monsters - prepare green potions in advance
  • If nothing else - prepare some enchanted spears
See section 3 of this guide.

Know thy land
Sometimes the layout of a level makes certain recipes harder/easier to make: for example if meat/fish are quite far from the fire, or dispensers are far from the cauldron. Knowing the optimal path is very useful. Understand WHERE to put things is also important; your AI companion will never pick things off the ground. And AI also cannot pull levers, so watch out for that as well.

Mass producing a bunch of plain meat on tables can save time (see below)

Know thyself
And knowing your allies is the most important key to victory and success. The AI is bad at somethings and good (very few) things.
Good
  • Portals - the AI doesn't get confused with the portals (but might not take the most direct path)
  • Simple Potions/Meat - one step to serve is best done by AI
  • Refill dispensers - basic jobs the AI can do; if the dispenser is "on the way" ie between the customers and the dispenser, you can ask it to refill, and switch back to serving

Bad
  • Defending - the AI pathing is bad, and the strength is low - it's not very good at defending, you're better off doing it yourself
  • Prioritisation - the AI doesn't seem to prioritise the customers with countdown timers - you totally should
  • Picking up items - the AI doesn't pick up items on the floor; this is both a blessing and a curse. If you want the AI to use an item, you need to put it on a counter; preferably close to where they need to go.
  • Dyeing Food - when the AI cooks meat they will put down the cooked item on a table first, before going to get a potion to dye it. It's quicker for you to either have pre-cooked meat, so the AI just dyes it with a potion, or you cook the meat, and you dye the meat on the grill before serving it.
  • Picking up shells - the AI companion cannot pick up shells, and the wombat only picks up one stack at a time. Sometimes it's better to do it yourself.
  • Using potions - AI can't drink on the job, so they can't: rizz the shy guys, up the downers, rain on the tornado, punch rocks and scrub wombats, these are all jobs you need to do yourself.
  • Levers - there aren't many levels that have this, but the ones where the BBQ and Cauldron have alternating access can cause the AI to stand still and cry until you pull the lever for them. For these levels, it's important to remember you can throw your potions into the Cauldron and retrieve them once the meat has finished cooking and vice versa, and you can also direct the AI to do specific jobs (serve potions only etc)
  • Using wind - the AI never uses the wind tunnel conveyor belt; just be careful the order they serve the customer if they interrupt your chain; when a customer has shells on the table, the wind will bypass that table. The timing of when you get shell collector assistant will be important.
  • Throw to me - this is a command for the AI; I would never use this unless you want to force the AI to drop what it's holding. Sometimes you need to do this, especially if the AI is trying to serve the elders before they are all seated (which breaks your social seating score)
  • Speed - you will outrun the AI, you will do everything faster

Pick your battles
The game has 5 types of enemies, you don't always need to hunt them down. Decide on which ones to take out, depending on the circumstances. For example, if you're at the last 2 tables and they don't need blue potions, ignore the Shadow or Thirst Monsters attacking the blue refills/dispensers.
  • Cat Burglars - Steals your money; I believe this does affect your score. With the exception of a few levels, they are pretty easy to defend against.
  • Thirsty Monster - Drains a dispenser; they are actually really good to have, since feeding them a potion gives you a refill canister. If the dispenser is of no use to you for the remainder of your service, or you have enough canisters lying around, you can safely ignore them. Does not cost you points if your dispenser is drained.
  • Shadow Monster - Curses a station; it blocks the use of one of the stations, not that important but they do take a few hits to kill; unless you have an enchanted spear that one shots all monsters.
  • Crocs - Eats an item left out/eats the food out of your/AI companion's hands; the crocs are very slow and easy to avoid. It will eat stuff in a cauldron and on the stove. That rainbow potion on the ground prepped to counter Colin will get eaten.
  • Colin - the wizard teleports in and causes a whirlwind. A rainbow dispel potion will clear it; do not trigger this until Colin has actually cast his spell. Cast it near the whirlwind (you can miss this - it's an achievement). Dispel also dispels all buffs on you. You cannot attack Colin (unfortunately) so don't bother trying.
3.1 Specific Tips - Day 1-9
Note: I do not mention potions, spears/wands for defending, steak/fish (or dyed variants), because these are standard and in most levels once unlocked. As mentioned in general tips, it's best to leave cooked food on a table for the AI to dye with potions. Get the fishing trap as soon as possible.

As with the tool tip, you get bonus points for letting different elders sit next to each other

4
Morning
E
The long passage way gives you ample time to stop the cat burglar, the long table does make it a bit annoying to cook meat; you can throw 3 pieces of raw meat at the table and retrieve them at the BBQ
1/5
Evening
E,G
First level introducing the cauldron. You will have shy customers that need a Green Charisma Potion - if you have the Charisma Duration, it should last the entire round so you only need to brew one to drink (and 2-3 to serve)
1/5
5
Morning
E,G
Introduction of the group order, let the AI deliver 1 and 3, you deliver 2 and 4 - this will be the quickest way to complete these. There are 2 rounds; you will need 2 Green Charisma Potions. Always have meet stocked and you will be fine. Practice throwing the orders
1/5
Evening
E,G
Introduction of thirsty monsters; they help save you from having to run to get refills. 1 Green Charisma Potion per round should be enough.

6
Morning
E,ES
Introduction to enchanted spear, try to get the AI to stay in the customer area by having potions and meat stacked on the counters, but remember to balance this with seating the elders
1/5
Evening
E,G,ES
You'll now work out that if you have a Green Charisma potion in the pot, and you add a spear, it becomes an enchanted spear. So in preparation for green potion orders or shy customers, having a green potion in a pot is useful early on

7
Morning
E,P,ES
Do what you did yesterday, except make some Purple Wind potions; you'll notice that any advanced potion combination + spear makes an enchanted spear (not just blue and yellow like the tool tip)
1/5
Evening
E,P
Pretty much the same as morning, except now you also have group orders

8
Morning
E,O,H
Wombat Riders, you will likely need to make 2 Orange Strength Potions in the 1st session and 1 in the second to clean the wombats; keep pumping out the meat to speed up the AI assistant. Don't forget the Elders; make sure to seat 2 at a time so you can get the maximum social bonus points
1/5
Evening
E,O,H,R,ES
You'll need an Orange Strength potion to break the rocks, and then clean the wombat. Somewhere at this time, Colin will cast his whirlwind spell. Note that when you drink the Rainbow Dispel Potion it has a radius (you can miss the whirlwind - achievement), it will also dispel your strength, so make sure to brush the wombat before dispelling. Colin appears twice, there will be a few enchanted spear requests
2/5
9
Hydra
The Hydra is really easy: the Emu wants a dyed meat, and Frilled Neck Lizard wants an advanced potion. Dyed meats can only be RBY, and potion can only be OPG. So once you see the order, just remember R+O, or B+O, or Y+G etc; meat always goes to the Emu, potion always goes to the lizard even when they swap positions. I find the optimal order is grill meat > draw potion > meat > draw potion, pot, draw potion, pot, feed meat, pot, feed potion. Repeat this until end of the level.

To drop this down to a 1/5 difficulty, pick the Maintenance chore, and aim to get Full Dispensers. That shaves about 8 seconds off your run.

3.2 Specific Tips - Day 10-15
Note: I do not mention potions, spears/wands for defending, steak/fish (or dyed variants), because these are standard and in most levels once unlocked. As mentioned in general tips, it's best to leave cooked food on a table for the AI to dye with potions. Get the fishing trap as soon as possible.

R = Rainbow (Dispel) Potion
ES = Enchanted Spear
H = Hay (Wombat Feed)
E = Elders (need to seat them)
L = Lever
WT = Wind Tunnel
TP = Teleport (Portal)

10
Morning
ES
Introduces the shadow monsters; defending against the shadow monsters is situational and often not urgent - only attack them if they disable something important (let them attack the refill stations). Enchanted Spears can one-hit the shadow monsters, you'll get 2-3 requests anyway. You really need to move and be quick on the basic mechanics now: prepare meat often, and have at least one of each basic potion ready for the AI to throw. You need to make sure that you collect the shells and never leave the AI not doing anything for the customer. You'll need a few Enchanted Spears one during each break.
3/5
Evening
E,O,H, ES
Introducing the plant elder, they need to sit at the plant table - that's it. You need to be good at throwing. You should have enough time to throw 2 steaks, run around, fill both cauldrons preemptively with 2 orange potions. Make one an Enchanted Spear, and drink the other one for the wombat. The elder's tables can be collected when you seat the next elder, so don't worry about clearing the shells for those tables.
2/5
11
Morning
E, ES, P
Introducing moving counters - place the raw meat on the top left 2 counters, cook them when the counters move towards the BBQ. You'll need two sets of purple potions to clear the cursed customers.
1/5
Evening
E,O,G
Introduction to the moving stations: the cauldron and BBQ rotate - it's not too inconvenient, so just play normally. You'll need 1 Orange Potion to break the rocks on the right early one, then one green potion for the first group of shy customers.
1/5
12
Morning
E,O,R,P
When Colin taunts you at the start, it means he's going to appear, you'll only need a rainbow at the start of the second service. You'll also need an orange potion to break the rocks at the start. The rotating tables aren't really that much of a hinderance. Shadow monsters again pick your battles.
1/5
Evening
E,O,H,ES, L
The lever here is very annoying, as it rotates the tables making the trip to the BBQ and the cauldron longer/shorter; cook 3 steaks and move on. You'll need need to make an orange potion straight away to clear the wombat. It's very easy to miss the 75 points of Social Seating you need for 3 stars - you need to have all 3 elder seated at the same time, but the plant elder is behind a few regular customers. Make sure to have 1 open seat, and your AI companion delivering to the 2nd regular customer, before you seat your elders. Clear the first 2 wombats quickly (pick up hay after seating an elder helps cut down on time). One of the elders will need an enchanted spear - the timing is about right to take a spear and kill the shadow monster before enchanting.
3/5
13
Morning
O,L,P
Introduction of the fire elementals; they will burn down the table if you don't quickly deliver. Luckily the AI seems to prioritise them, and they don't seem to need very complicated orders. The lever moves the tables back and forth; this mechanic I found to be useful only to help collect shells since you can throw orders to customers across the water. You'll need an orange potion to remove the initial rocks and a purple potion to clear the cursed customers. There will be a wave of many shadow monsters; an enchanted spear will one shot them.
1/5
Evening
E,ES,L,R
This one is fairly straight forward - layout looks annoying, the level changes which section has walls. I typically leave the middle section open and just run between the two. I always draw 2 potions at a time, leave one on the counter and deliver/craft with the second, that way the AI doesn't have to take the long path. Move fast buff is useful for this level, but pretty easy to even without it. Don't worry too much about refilling as you will get thirsty monsters, just feed them the a potion from the machine they are drinking from.
1/5
14
Morning
E,ES,P
This level has the cauldron, meat and stoves moving up and down. Luckily there are no magpies on this level, you can throw steaks on the BBQ and leave them there. Unfortunately the AI will not throw ingredients onto stoves or cauldrons, so your focus should be brewing advanced potions. You'll need 2 purple ones. One of the elders will want an enchanted spear. Watch out for the fire elemental.
1/5
Evening
O,G
The maze walls move up and down; but it's not very difficult to navigate. Dash through the maze quickly. Watch out of the fire elementals, since your AI companion will be slow in delivering and coming back. The wombat is also slow since it can only carry one stack of shells at a time, which may leave your customers waiting. You'll need to make 3-4 green charisma potions for the shy customers.
1/5
15
Morning
Fishing Tutorial, you must catch all the eels and not let any through. Then talk Gudoo as soon as possible. The fishing trap works on this level, but isn't very helpful. Don't catch the rainbow fish.
1/5
Evening
E,O,H,ES
Introduction of the crocodiles, they're pretty slow but will eat anything you have lying around - but they come from the bottom left so fish on the right side will be fine, though there aren't many counters to store fish. Same as Day 12 Evening, it's easy to miss the first social seating as the first Elder is followed by 2 regular customers, one of which is a wombat rider (who slowly walks his wombat to the left, then slowly sits back down on the right.
3/5
3.3 Specific Tips - Day 16-19
Note: I do not mention potions, spears/wands for defending, steak/fish (or dyed variants), because these are standard and in most levels once unlocked. As mentioned in general tips, it's best to leave cooked food on a table for the AI to dye with potions. Get the fishing trap as soon as possible.

O = Orange (Strength) Potion
G = Green (Charisma) Potion
P = Purple (Wind) Potion
R = Rainbow (Dispel) Potion
ES = Enchanted Spear
H = Hay (Wombat Feed)
E = Elders (need to seat them)
L = Lever
WT = Wind Tunnel
TP = Teleport (Portal)

16
Morning
E,ES,G
Introduction of the wombat hugging elder, luckily the elders come in order both times they visit, and you can leave the wombat on the last empty table. The plant elder, as usual wants enchanted spears, but do not make these in advance because if the AI companion delivers the enchanted spear before all elders have sat down, you will miss the social seating bonus required for 3 stars. The cauldron travels along the water in a figure of 8, and has a weird hit box that makes it difficult to take things out on the bottom edges. As usual the AI does not throw things into the cauldron, and will sit and wait for it to come around, wasting time. You will need a green potion to rizz up the shy customers.
2/5
Evening
E,O,R,L
The elders will come in a different order now (the wombat hugger comes first), so as per the previous tip, do not complete the elder requests until all elders have sat down. The lever moves the cauldron and the BBQ left and right - making each accessible interchangeably. The AI will get stuck asking you to hit the lever; if you regularly make 2 fish, this will usually fix these issues. You'll need a rainbow dispel potion for Colin's whirlwind, and orange potions for the wombats. Remember that you can throw potions into the cauldron/BBQ, but the AI will not
2/5
17
Morning
E,ES,O,P
This should be fairly standard now, make an orange potion to break the rocks, make sure you seat all the elders before completing their orders, plant elder will want an enchanted spear. There will be one set of cursed customers that require a purple potion. This would be 1/5 difficulty if not for the number of crocs - they aren't actually that bad but the AI companion bugs out and does nothing if food gets snatched from their hands or if the magpies takes a fish off the fire. I would recommend setting the AI to "serve potions/serve advanced potions" and you do the fish and enchanted spear
2/5
Evening
E,ES,O,H,R,WT
Introduction of the Wind Tunnel conveyor belt. Things get a bit harder because of how useless the AI is on this level. Customers will rarely request basic potions; and the AI companion is really bad at defending the crocs that will come. The AI does not throw potions over or use the wind tunnel. You need to throw a heap of potions towards the cauldron and plan out. You will need 1 orange potion for each service, 1 enchanted spear for the plant elder. "Most" of the regular customers will request fish, which is best delivered by the Wind Tunnel, just be careful in the second service; unless you have 4 fish to send at the same time, you might accidentally miss the 4th fire elemental. Colin will come half way through the second service; remember that the dispel potion will dispel orange potion buff: consume the buff, bring the rainbow dispel potion, drop the potion, clean the wombat, and then use the dispel.
3/5
18
Morning
E,ES,O,H
The wall between the customers and fish goes up and down; there's a path around the top that is a bit longer but shouldn't be too big a problem. You'll need an orange potion to break the rock so you can deliver fish via Wind Tunnel; so it's best for the AI companion to focus on potions and advanced potions. You will need 2 orange potions for each service for the wombats, only one group of elders so one Enchanted Spear should be enough. Watch out for crocs if you decide to make a bunch of fish.
2/5
Evening
E,ES,O,H,R
The cauldron is across the river and a bit awkward to get to from the dispensers and you'll need a rainbow dispel potion right off the bat - I suggest throwing ingredients for 1 rainbow dispel, 1 enchanted spear, and 1 orange strength potion (so 7 potions in total) across the river (you won't be able to make the cauldron). This way you can dispel, make the spear, and prepare for the wombat in one go. You'll likely have to make a second orange potion as it won't last till the second wombat. Make sure you seat the elders after Colin does the whirlwind and you've dispelled it - it seems to not register the social seating during the whirlwind properly. AI companion is not very useful; get it to refill canisters and deliver the dyed fish.
2/5
19
Hydra
Same as the last hydra, remember the emu wants a dyed fish, lizard wants an advanced potion. I suggest this time doing an Exploration and getting a Golden Food - and serve this instead of a potion to speed up the delivery
2/5
3.4 Specific Tips - Day 20-26
Note: I do not mention potions, spears/wands for defending, steak/fish (or dyed variants), because these are standard and in most levels once unlocked. As mentioned in general tips, it's best to leave cooked food on a table for the AI to dye with potions. Get the fishing trap as soon as possible.

O = Orange (Strength) Potion
G = Green (Charisma) Potion
P = Purple (Wind) Potion
R = Rainbow (Dispel) Potion
ES = Enchanted Spear
H = Hay (Wombat Feed)
E = Elders (need to seat them)
L = Lever
WT = Wind Tunnel
TP = Teleport (Portal)

20
Morning
E,EP,O,H,TP
Introduction to Portals to teleport across the map. There will be disguised monsters (require fast service), but there's nothing particularly difficult for this level - make sure you always have have fish handy for the AI companion, and that elders are all sat down before their orders are fulfilled - the wombat hugger comes with a few regular customers after it. Shadow monsters can usually be ignored.
2/5
Evening
WT,TP
There are a bunch of one way teleports, nothing too difficult here - always have an advanced potion waiting in the cauldrons, meat on the tables. Thirsty monsters makes this fairly easy to refill. Strangely the AI companion does not throw potions across to the customers; you can fulfil orders by throwing to the tables. The Wind Tunnels are not super useful.
2/5
21
Morning
E,ES,R,O,H,L,TP
Fairly standard, just keep doing what you've been doing - cook about 5 steaks to start with, and then use the lever to set to cauldron. This will minimise the time the AI will need you to pull the lever. You'll need a rainbow dispel Colin's whirlwind, an enchanted spear, and to brush the wombats (if you focus on the wombat riders one orange potion should be enough). Remember to seat all the elders first before serving them.
2/5
Evening
R,P,TP
The 4 pairs of portals are easy to remember - if you enter from the right, you exit on the left, enter from the top, exit from the bottom and vice versa. Once you have that set, all you really need to focus on is keeping meat handy for the AI, and preparing 1 rainbow dispel potion, 2 purple wind potions for the cursed customers, and occasionally attacking the shadow monsters.
1/5
22
Morning
E,ES,L
This level has a lever which changes the wall position, which either blocks the dispensers from the cauldron, or the cauldron/BBQ from the customers. I recommend prepping 3 fish, 1 of each potion on the counters, and 1 enchanted spear, have the AI companion refill the dispensers When you're seating the elders, hit the lever and quickly deliver the 4 items. Repeat this twice on both services. In the second service, you'll get have a disguised monster guest, this is when you can use the AI companion. Once the monster guest is done, I suggest sending the AI companion away - since the last group of elders might not be seated before your AI companion start filling their orders. As long as you target the social seating bonus you should be fine.
2/5
Evening
P,WT,TP
You'll need purple potions for the cursed customers. You won't be able to use the wind tunnel much, it will realistically only deliver to the first 2 customers before new ones will take their place. Just run in a counter-clockwise direction, carrying one thing at a time. The Move Fast buff (under R&R) is probably the most useful for this level - but it's easily achievable without it. Keep fish handy for the AI.
1/5
23
Morning
O,E,EP,P,R,TP
This one gets a bit tricky as the AI companion likes to take the long away around sometimes; you'll need an orange potion to break the rocks, then make a purple potion, but make sure you quickly clear 2 tables so all the cursed patrons are seated before you use the purple potion. Then you need to make a rainbow dispel. You'll need 2 enchanted spears in the second seating, keep an eye on the timers of the disguised monster vs the elders; every time you bring a potion over, load up a fish on the BBQ to keep the tables full.
3/5
Evening
G,L,WT
This one is really tricky on time; the lever rotates the tables, and only one table is available at a time. You'll need green potions to deal with shy customers. You need to watch which customer the AI is trying to deliver to and making sure it does not try to run all the way around, and try rotate them to the front whilst juggling the fire elemental timers. Luckily you can set them to either front or back, and get the AI to deliver or you can send to them through the wind tunnel in the back. Don't worry about the cat stealing your shells.
4/5
24
Morning
O,H,R,ES
The walls shift again, you've done a maze level and this is no different - if the cat burglar takes your shells don't worry about it. Try to clear the wombat rider's request first to make use of the strength potion. You'll need a rainbow dispel potion, but don't leave it around for the crocs to eat.
2/5
Evening
E,ES,R,G,TP
There is nothing new here, alternating portals, green potion for shy customers, dispel potion for Colin's whirlwind, social seat the elders, keep an eye on the fire elementals
2/5
25
Morning
O,P,WT,TP
Keep the 3 counters full of fish, and prepare purple potions for the cursed customers; as usual try to clear space so that all the cursed customers are seated before consuming. Make use of the wind tunnel while keeping track of the wombat and AI on who they are delivering to.
2/5
Evening
E,ES,O,H,L
The lever moves the tables in an X, basically load up the raw meat, and then load 2 potions onto the counters, and hit the lever to transport the raw meat and potion to the BBQ and cauldron respectively. It's a fairly straightforward map, the crocs don't really pose a problem.
2/5
26
Morning
O,E,ES,P,WT,TP
Again it's pretty easy, you'll need an orange potion to unlock the wind tunnel, which is useful for delivering to the elders in the second seating, keep an eye on the fire elementals. You'll need a purple potion to clear the curse.
2/5
Evening
O,E,TP
Again nothing new, you've got the 4 pairs of opposing cross teleport portals which you should be familiar with now. You'll need an orange potion to start to clear the rocks. Then 2-3 sets of green charisma potions for the shy customers. Keep filling the cauldrons and cooked fish handy. Enchanted spear for the elders
2/5
3.5 Section Tips - Day 27-28
27
Hydra
TP
The cross teleport hydra trying to confuse you again - but it's exactly the same as before: emu dyed meat, lizard advanced potion. There is one trick I found; if you fill the dispensers in the loading area, it does not actually affect the fullness of the level - this is based on saved state. Enter a level, fill your dispensers, and then exit the level - the dispenser levels will carry over. Then grab the Golden Food (Exploration). I found it easiest do dispense 2 potions of the same colour if that's what's needed: ie red + purple = 2 red 1 blue, yellow + orange = 2 yellow 1 red etc. Put the meat on the BBQ, run to get the potion to dye it, race the magpie back to the cooked meat, immediately feed the emu. Then do the potions. Use the Golden Food to shave off 10 seconds.
5/5
28
Morning
E,ES
Colin casts a fire spell, which fills the screen with red magic circles. This will set you on fire and make you run very fast but prevents you from picking up items (but you can throw items). Other than that, there's nothing special about the level, there are no enemies other than the cat thief. You'll need enchanted spear for the plant elder. Watch out for the fire elemental timers. Don't even bother avoiding the fire spell. Keep the 2 counters loaded with fish for the AI.
2/5
Evening
E,ES,P,G,O,H
The final level, so every recipe is represented here. Colin will cast 3 spells: fire, ice and lightning represented by red, blue and purple magic circles. If struck by fire, you run super fast but you cannot pick up an item: this is actually ok to be hit especially when seating the elders. If your'e holding an item, you can still throw it (ie potion into the cauldron or fish into the BBQ). The ice will freeze you, the lightning will stun you with a delay. Both are not recommended for 4 stars; but I was hit once and still able to complete the level at 8:12 to beat the requirement of 8:15. The level seems hard, since it needs at least 1 copy of each advanced potion. Craft the enchanted spear, the orange, purple and green potions; leave them on the floor near the wombat feeding ground. Watch out for the crocs.

4.0 Achievements
There are only 4 achievements which you won't get by playing through the story (you should have enough shells to buy everything out by the end, especially if you are trying to get 4 stars and have a few multiple tries), I've clarified what you need to do specifically for those.

  • And I would have gotten away with it too - you need to catch the cat burglar 20 times while they are holding shells (ie not stopping them before they come pick up shells)
  • Oops... - you need to drink the rainbow dispel potion far away enough from the wizard. Just go to the corner of the map (it has a fairly wide radius (about 1/4 screen).
  • Don't mind the burn marks - you need to either mess up a fire elemental order by giving them the wrong thing, or let the timer run out. They will burn down the table they were at. Obviously you cannot get 3 star completion if you let this happen.
  • Hat's off - on some levels you will see a disguised monster (they look like a thirsty monster) wearing a hat. After serving them, their hat might fall off (this is random as far as I can tell). You need to pick up this hat, and put it on a monster (I got this on a level that had thirsty monsters; not sure if that's a requirement for the hat to fall off - it was drinking my refill station and the hat went on for the achievement).
