Known Bug - Description
- This is a known bug that Capcom has not acknowledged nor fixed yet.
- The problem is that your character would alternate between walking and running.

This tutorial aims to eliminate that bug with a permanent fix. Any changes you make within Steam's controller configuration is saved for the next time you play and is applied immediately without needing to save.

Before You Get Started
You'll need the following:
- A keyboard and mouse.
- Steam for PC installed.
- Devil May Cry HD Collection - To play DMC 2 with.

Steps
1. Press Shift + Tab to enter the Steam overlay.
On the bottom, choose the controller icon that says, "Steam Controller Configuration."

2. On the top right of the menu, select Enable Steam Input.

3. Underneath the Current Button Layout section, select the button that says Edit Layout.

4. On the left-hand sidebar of the screen, select the fourth option that says Joysticks.

5. Within the Joysticks menu, look for the section titled Left Joystick Behavior.
Select the right-hand Gear (Settings) icon.

6. Within the Left Joystick's menu, look for a setting tilted Stick Response Curve.
Select the drop-down menu.

7. Choose the Aggressive setting.

8. That's it. The changes would be applied immediately. Your DMC 2 character should be running fluidly with no sudden alternating between running and walking.
