Guide to All Secret Missions - On a Budget
By PriestMarmore
This guide will help you complete all secret missions without spending too many SR and UR points.
Some will take a lot of time so don't play in a high rank, try to get play at Gold or lower.

Demon - Win on your first Attack Turn (5)
If you complete Strong Arm you'll also complete this mission. The best budget deck is still Crusadia. If you want a better but more expensive alternative, look at Tenpai.
Destroyer - Win by Decking Your Opponent (20)
Hardest one by far. Chances of having a good hand are pretty slim. On top of that your opponent needs to have a bad board with almost no interruptions. There's maybe a 10% to 20% of this happening, however, unlike with Exodia where people are actually curious about it and will stay until the end, when you're decking them out, people will just leave the game when you're about to win which is extremely annoying.

There are two possible strategies you can implement. The first one is Runick stun, however it is much more expansive and slower (which makes people more likely to resign, leading you to not win by deck out) so we'll be going with Necroface Inferno Tempest. If everything goes well we can actually win in the 3rd turn.

We have a couple hand traps because they not only have 0 ATK but also negate effects so you can slow down your opponent. They are UR or SR but not needed. I also assume most of you will already have them since they are staples, however the only SR you actually need is Necroface. Other SRs and URs are only advisable (Lava Golem and Card Destruction are really good too). Here's the full deck list I used:

Main Deck (40)
  • 3x Effect Veiler
  • 3x Droll & Lock Bird
  • 1x Performapal Hip Hippo
  • 2x Necroface
  • 1x Lava Golem
  • 3x Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju
  • 3x Jizukiru, the Star-Destroying Kaiju
  • 1x Nibiru, the Primal Being
  • 1x Harpie's Feather Duster
  • 1x Card of Destruction
  • 1x Magical Mallet
  • 2x Interrupted Kaiju Slumber
  • 1x Pot of Desires
  • 3x Inferno Tempest
  • 3x Hippo Carnival
  • 3x Super Hippo Carnival
  • 1x Pot of Acquisitiveness
  • 1x Runick Destruction
  • 3x Runick Smiting Storm
  • 3x Runick Golden Droplet
Extra Deck (7)
  • 1x Hugin the Runick Wings
  • 1x Munin the Runick Wings
  • 1x Geri the Runick Fangs
  • 1x Freki the Runick Fangs
  • 1x Sleipnir the Runick Mane
  • 1x Lyna the Light Charmer, Lustrous
  • 1x Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy

Here's the strategy: GO 2nd; in your hand you'll need a couple of cards:
  • Inferno Tempest
  • A Kaiju or Lava Golem if your opponent doesn't have a monster with 3000+ ATK
  • A monster capable of taking 3000+ damage when attacking a monster from your opponent (hence we use Kaijus), preferably with 0 ATK.
With this cards in your hand, summon your monster/token with 0 attack and crash into their Kaiju or monster with 3000+ ATK or DEF. Once you take 3000 or more damage you'll be able to activate Inferno Tempest. This will banish all monsters from both decks and GYs. Once that's done, the effect of Necroface will banish 5 cards from each deck (you have 2 Necroface so that's 10 more banishes). Hopefully since your opponent went first, he'll have less cards in his deck and will deck out in the next turn. We use a few Runick cards in case he still has a couple left in the deck.

Prioritize tokens over monsters because that means you'll have less cards being banished by Inferno Tempest. Also during the game try to be as fast as possible with your plays in order to minimize the chance of your opponent leaving. If your opponent already has 0 cards in his deck, just end your turn, don't wast time.

Sealed One - Win a PvP Duel with Exodia the Forbidden One Victory Condition (10)
This one is the most expensive, the only one we can't cheap out. It's also a cool one but it will take a bit of time. You'll see though that once it gets going you're probably going to win. There's no extra deck.

Main Deck (40)
  • 1x Right Leg of the Forbidden One
  • 1x Left Leg of the Forbidden One
  • 1x Right Arm of the Forbidden One
  • 1x Left Arm of the Forbidden One
  • 1x Exodia the Forbidden One
  • 3x Royal Magical Library
  • 3x Thunder Dragon
  • 1x Anchamoufrite
  • 1x Card Destruction
  • 3x Upstart Goblin
  • 3x Toon Table of Contents
  • 1x Dark Factory of Mass Production
  • 1x Dark World Dealings
  • 1x Double Summon
  • 3x Golden Bamboo Sword
  • 3x Into the Void
  • 1x Pot of Duality
  • 1x One Day of Peace
  • 1x Toon Bookmark
  • 1x Broken Bamboo Sword
  • 2x Cursed Bamboo Sword
  • 3x Chicken Game
  • 1x Toon World
  • 1x Contract with Don Thousand
  • 1x Hand Destruction

The goal is simple, we just wanna have all 5 pieces of exodia on our hand. There are a couple important cards to take notice of:
  • Royal Magical Library: For every 3 spells activated you can draw a card. Make sure this is always on the field otherwise you won't win
  • Bamboo Swords: The Gold one draws you 2 cards and the Cursed allows you to search the Gold one when sent to the GY
  • Contract with Don Thousand: You can't summon after activating this so make sure you have Royal Magical Library in the field prior to this card
  • Dark Factory of Mass Production: You can send 2 legs or arms to the GY (the head is an Effect monster) and use this card to get them back
All other cards either draw you more cards or they thin your deck. Thinning refers to cards that do nothing but call more cards to your hand (like the Toon cards and Thunder Dragon). Be smart about what cards you also discard.
Showoff - Equip a Card (100)
If you complete the exodia mission you might unlock this but if you haven't this is an easy one.

When you go to create a deck, go the filter section and select the rarities "N" and "R" and then "Equip Spell".

Select all the ones that are not type or attribute specific. Mage Power, Horn of the Unicorn and Stim-Pack are all examples of cards that you can equip to any monster.

Make sure to create a deck with only level 4 or lower monsters, so you can normal summon them, and the rest only equip spells, maybe have 10/15 monsters and the rest equip spells. Something like this:
Then just normal summon a monster and equip as many spells as you have.
Strong Arm - Deal Over 8,000 Damage in a Single Attack (20)
Strong Arm -> Deal Over 8,000 Damage in a Single Attack - 20
There are a couple strategies we can use but if you're on a budget, try crafting a Crusadia deck. The whole deck only has two SRs that are actually needed and no URs. You'll always wanna go 2nd because this is an OTK strategy.
Crusadia Spatha will not be used for anything. You also don't need 2 Crusadia Equimax, I just had them. Here's the deck list:

Main Deck (40)
  • 3x Crusadia Reclusia
  • 3x Crusadia Arboria
  • 3x Crusadia Leonis
  • 3x Crusadia Draco
  • 3x Crusadia Maximus
  • 3x World Legacy - "World Crown"
  • 2x Parallel eXceed
  • 3x Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju
  • 3x Jizukiru, the Star-Destroying Kaiju
  • 1x Pot of Desires
  • 2x Lightning Storm
  • 3x Crusadia Revival
  • 3x Mystical Space Typhoon
  • 3x Forbidden Chalice
  • 2x Crusadia Power

Extra Deck (4)
  • 1x Crusadia Magius
  • 1x Crusadia Regulex
  • 1x Crusadia Spatha
  • 1x Crusadia Equimax

Crusadia monsters can be special summoned to the field when there's a link monster. You'll be able to special summoned to a zone that is being pointed by that link monster. This is a once per turn effect.

The goal is to normal summon a monster and climb the leader until our link-3 monster, Crusadia Equimax. The link monsters gain attack equal to the cards they are pointing at so our link 3 can get attack equal to the sum of its attack plus 3 other monsters. This is why we have Kaijus too. We can use them to remove annoying cards like Baronne, and place the kaiju in front of the link monster so we get another 3300 ATK. Use the effects of the Crusadia monsters on your link-3 Equimax to take full advantage of the deck.

There are a couple effects that are useful:
  • Crusadia Draco: With his effect you can add to your hand a Crusadia monster on the GY. Use it to get back the monster you normal summoned first since you haven't used that monster's effect of special summoning. This is basically a +1 monster on your field.
  • Crusadia Maximus: Possibly the most important card. If you can, make sure this card is on the field when you're going to attack. It doubles your battle damage when battling a monster.
  • Crusadia Leonis: When attacking a defense monster it deals piercing damage.

Here's a short youtube video showing how the deck works.
Tactician - Win a PvP Duel by Special Victory (30)
If you complete Destroyer and Sealed One, you'll get this one. Exodia will have a higher success rate so if you don't care about the Destroyer, just continue playing with Exodia
Unfathomable - Win a Duel Without Normal Summoning (1)
This should be an easy one. If you've played for a while you already have this one. If you don't then my advice is to just invest in a decent deck instead of wasting points in random cards because any decent deck will get you to complete this mission.
Gain Life Points (100,000)
Search for Spells and Traps that give you LP. Search for "life points" and you'll see many cards like Dian Keto the Cure Master and Des Counterblow. Fill your deck with this cards. You'll lose every game but it will be fast and sweet
Place a Spell Counter (100)
If you're using Royal Magical Library you'll easily get this one from the previous missions
Summon a Gemini monster on the Field (10)
This is an easy one. Just search for gemini monsters and fill your deck with them. You can find gemini monsters by going to "filters" and select "Gemini"

Take control of your opponent's Monsters (40)
Let's use a bunch of spells and traps to get this one. Make sure you go second so you actually have monsters to take control of. Use cards like:
  • Brain Control
  • Creature Swap
  • Enemy Controller
  • Triple Tactics Talent
  • Change of Heart
  • Mind Control
  • Snatch Steal
  • Sky Striker Mecha - Widow Anchor
Most of these are pretty expensive but you can do it with enemy controller and Brain Control alone, it just takes longer.
When your opponent's Monster attacks, your opponent takes Damage
This refers to battle damage. Cards like Magic Cylinder deal effect damage, not battle damage. Our strategy is simple; make them attack us, boost their attack if we can and then reverse the battle damage. We're gonna need negates just in case. Here's how we're gonna do that.

Dimension Wall is our answer. When your opponent declares an attack, he takes that damage, so just set this card face down (if you have two then set them both in case he destroys or negates one).

Forbidden Chalice is a really good one too. It negates and increases their attack.

After this get a bunch of negates like the Solemn Judgement, Solemn Strike, Widow Anchor, Forbidden Droplet, Called by the Grave and cards like that. As for monsters you might wanna add Marshmallon and a bunch of high defense monsters if you need to fill the deck. You can also consider adding Megamorph in case there's a scenario you can boost your opponent's monster with it.
Other Non-Secret Missions
There are a couple of missions that you might be having a hard time completing. Some of them you'll complete by playing, like "Monsters on you opponent's field are destroyed", however there are a couple of them that most people won't have them completed even after thousands of hours played. Let's look at them.

You banish your opponent's card (3000)
Woof... this will take a lot of time. Unless you regularly play a deck that banishes cards, like Kashtira, chances are you have this mission below 1000. The fastest way to get this mission done is to play Necroface Inferno Tempest. When you're doing the secret mission above, if you're in a game that you banishes a lot of cards but you won't win, don't resign, just loose. You might not win but you probably banished 20/30 cards and that's pretty good. By the time you complete the secret mission you might have this mission completed too.

Activate the effect of a card in the Graveyard & Special Summon a monster from the Graveyard
I did this too at the same time. This one is so boring and you'll be your opponent's worst nightmare, no one will like you after this strategy but here's what we'll do.

This strategy revolves completely around Manticore of Darkness. When this card is the in GY because it was sent there that turn, you can send another Manticore of Darkness from your hand or field to the GY and special summon the one you have on the GY. This means you sent another Manticore to the GY, which means you special summon that one by sending the Manticore on the field to the GY and you create an infinite loop. Now, this is not an infinite loop because after 100 repetitions the game will automatically end your turn but that's pretty good. 100 effects from the GY and 100 special summoned monsters from the GY per turn. If you're lucky your opponent might use Maxx C and you might end up decking him out like it happened in the video below.

The deck will be very similar to our Exodia deck but without the Exodia cards. This actually makes getting one Manticore in the GY and in your hand significantly easier and more likely then getting all 5 pieces of Exodia in your hand.

Here's the loop in action:
