How to unlock the "Globbler."

Secret Weapon: The "Globbler"
To unlock the Globbler, one must complete the following tasks:
  1. Unlock the secret room on "Gravity Farms" and collect the "Scorched Transponder."
  2. Activate the "Scorched Transponder" from your storage unlocking the mission "Ground Zero."
  3. Complete "Ground Zero" to unlock the "Globbler."
  4. Craft the "Globbler."
Unlocking the secret room in "Gravity Farms."
Gravity Farms
Start any mission in "Gravity Farms."

Note: This can be completed on any difficulty, but make it easy on yourself and choose the easiest option.

Find the secret room
it is located near the center of the map. Note the large structure behind it.
  • There are three lights that coorespond to three hidden switches that you must active. Flipping all three switches unlocks the door. The location of the switches are scattered across the map. The arrows show the general direction that each switch is, relative to this room.

    Yellow is directly behind you.

Yellow Switch
Turn around, directly behind you, opposite the secret room heading south.
  • Locate a large tower with fungus protruding through the top.

    You can see the tower in the image on the far right side. Notice where the secret room is on the left. This should help you align yourself.

  • Getting close to the tower reveals a door.


  • Destroying the door reveals the Yellow switch, allowing you to activate it.

Blue Switch
Head west from the secret room towards the very very large blackish grey cylindrical building.
  • Locate this green building with a small passage.

    Use the large cylindrical building in the image on the left side to orient yourself.

  • Enter the passage and start destroying this door.


  • Destroying the door reveals the Blue switch, allowing you to activate it.

Red Switch
Head east from the secret room towards the very very large dome.
  • Locate this small building under a large patch of mushrooms.

    You can see this building in the image on the left side and the large dome on the right.

  • Getting close to the structure reveals a door.


  • Destroying the door reveals the Red switch, allowing you to activate it.

Entering the Secret Room
Now that all switches are activated, the secret rooms door will finally open. Enter the room and you will see this on the ground.


Collecting it will reward you with the following item.


The "Scorched Transponder" will be placed in your "Storage."


Abort the mission and return to the Hub.
Ground Zero
Accessing the secret mission, "Ground Zero."
Starting in the Hub, open your storage and activate the "Scorched Transponder."


Now open your mission terminal and look for "Ground Zero" in "Gravity Farms."


Complete the mission
Completing "Ground Zero" unlocks the Globbler!
You will still need to collect the necessary resources and craft it!

To answer about the 24 hour thing, its a weekly reset thing they added recently. You have infinite time to redo the mission but its just once a week now is all.

what if the 24 hours pass? in the emission logo says menacingly 24 HOURS, if they pass I need to repeat the secret room segment?

No, you can replay Ground Zero indefinitely, even after you beat it. I will say, it is not an easy mission. So make sure you have leveled and have a decent build.

If i die on ground zero do I have to redo the gravity falls room?

Okay but the mission obj "breach the rocket" is really under explained. And the lack of horizon to reference gravity just sucks.
