STEP 1 - LOOK AT YOUR MAP

This game isnt just about sight seeing, so pull up your map using TAB

STEP 2 - WHERE IS THE STORM

The storm on the map is shown as big colorful storm bubbles. Once spotted you might wanna start driving to it, since youll be able to collect more data the longer you are there.

STEP 3 - WHERE IS IT WINDY (velocity)

Press DOWN on your ARROW KEYS to see the storm's velocity. its how fast the wind is moving

quick cheat sheet:

Blue: moving VERY FAST toward OZEF (black dot on the map)
Dark green: moving FAST toward OZEF
Green: moving toward OZEF
White: Not moving
Red: Moving away from OZEF
Dark red: Moving away FAST from OZEF

VELOCITY - HOW TO USE???

How do u "read" the velocity RADAR?? simple, look for very different colors right next to each other. In this case, the blue is moving very quick towards the OZEF RADAR, while the red is moving very quick AWAY from the OZEF RADAR. implying that there are severe twisty winds between them

If you still have trouble identifying wind speed, use the handy INFORMATION TAB in the bottom right of your map. it will display the full range of colors from -30 windspeed to +30 windspeed. Once you have identified an area of twist-ey winds, drive over there and prepare for a tornado

STEP 4 - TORNADO!!!! TORNADO!!!!

OKAY ITS HAPPENING, THE TORNADO DROPPED.. PULL OUT YOUR PHONE AND REPORT IT

Reported tornados will appear on the map, and allow you to more easily predict where the path of the tornado may be. The intitial Tornado may be a bit harder to track but if you use the WIND RADAR (explained below), you can gauge your predictions from there.

Checking Wind Direction will help you more accurately predict the paths of Tornados. To do this, head over to the WIND RADAR; This can be accessed by pressing Q, then navigating with the UP and DOWN ARROW KEYS.

Wind Cheat sheet:
850mb: Winds that are very high up, almost near the atmosphere
500mb: Winds that interfere with the middle part of the Tornado
250mb: Winds that effect the part of the Tornado that has touched the ground.

STEP 5 - TRACKING AND INTERCEPTING

Now, using your WIND RADAR knowledge you must predict the path of the Tornado and drive in front of it. Once you are in front of the Tornado, place a PROBE down on grass, and get out of there!
