Start of the Fight
As soon as the fight begins Emma jumps out of the mud and as she falls to the ground she releases a wave of corruption.

This skill is very easy to deal with. There are two ways of dealing with it, both very simple.

1ª - The first way is to use the dash at the right time for her skill, and to avoid any risks be at a considerable distance when she uses this skill, because if you're close to Emma the reaction time is much shorter and you need to have your reflexes up to date. Tip! Take advantage of the time when you cross her skill to attack, she stays in a freeze time for about 2 or 3 seconds

2ª - The second way is very passive, you just need to get out of range of the skill by going to the edge of the room. As I said, this way is very passive as it doesn't allow you to attack as you're far away from Emma, unlike the first method, where you take advantage of a freeze time of a few seconds to attack her after the dash.






Skill and Combat
During the fight against Emma, she will use three different skills, not including the corruption pulse she uses when she gets out of the mud. Emma also has 3 stages of combat that are always the same.

1ª Skill - The first of Emma's skills I'm going to talk about are the corruption orbs, I like to call them that haha, in this skill Emma spins in 360º firing multiple orbs around the room, after being launched these orbs lose speed and explode leaving a puddle of corruption on the floor that causes damage if you pass over it.



Combat Tip - stay calm and when the orbs come towards you try to stay in the space between one orb and another so you don't take damage, another way is to dash between the orbs. As for the puddles, just avoid the places where they form.

2ª Skill - This skill I've nicknamed the steamroller, because Emma runs after you like Ben 10's Cannonbolt. This skill has two forms: one is prolonged, as I just said, where she chases you for a few seconds, and the other is in the form of a mini dash that you can barely see, so be careful.



Combat Tip - There's not much you can do when she's using this skill, just try to run around avoiding the mud as much as possible so your character doesn't get slowed down, in this skill Emma is extremely fast, any mistake and you'll get run over. So RUUUNNNN!

3ª Skill - In this skill Emma really becomes a frog and starts jumping around the room trying to crush you, she chases you with 3 jumps in a row without rest.

Combat Tip - Against this skill you'll have to rely on your cunning and reflexes to dodge the chasing jumps, the idea here is to stay calm and dash at the exact moment you land and everything will go smoothly. And never stand still, always keep moving.






Combat Phase - Emma like all bosses in Lost In Random has phases, she has 3, but don't be alarmed these phases are very calm, they occur when the player always takes 1/3 of her total life, after losing life she returns to the mud and starts summoning common mobs from the swamp, in total there are 9 mobs always summoned in trio, whenever you defeat a trio the next one appears, while you fight Emma also throws some corruption bombs at you. After you've killed her spawn, Emma jumps out of the mud again and begins direct combat against her once more.


Final Tip - Always take advantage of the freeze time between Emma's skills to deal damage. Well that's it I hope I can help someone with this.
