Hey everyone,
at the end of The Alters, an encrypted message appears on Jan's computer. Depending on your choices during the game, different messages appear. Some Reddit users have decrypted these messages.


It's a Vigenère cipher. An ASCII table is used for decryption.
The ASCII-Code of the key (one of its letters) is subtracted from the ASCII-Code of the encrypted letter. Then 95 is added if the result is less than 32, otherwise plus 1 to produce something printable after shifting (the ASCII-Codes 00–31 and 127 are not used).
The respective key is the word in bold in the emails on the left screen in Jan's apartment
