Overview
Hello fellow duck watchers. This guide is for people who want to be a try hard at the silly duck idle game. This guide features advice for how to quickly acquire achievements and how to keep tabs on progress for certain one's. Basically, this is the 100% guide I wish I had.

If you notice any changes that should be made to this guide, please feel free to comment. I will try my best to update this guide as more DLC comes out.
Forcing Achievements
Some achievements can be forced with enough patience from the player. While you do not need to force any achievement to happen in order to 100% the game, it may be beneficial for some of the trickier ones.

Step 1: Start a New Save
While not required, this makes later steps easier to accomplish. Make sure this save, regardless if it is new or not, has whatever ducks enabled that the achievement you are forcing requires. While not required, it is also recommended you have ONLY the ducks enabled from the pack you want the achievement from. For example, if you are trying to get the achievement "Project BFD", you should only have ducks from So Many Ducks enabled.

Step 2: Wait Until You Get 2 Ducks Total
You can either get a random duck or restart the game until you get one of the ducks you need. Because you can't save the game with only 1 duck in your pool, you will need another duck to progress. If you are using an old save, you can skip this step.

Step 3: Get the Progress Bar Almost Entirely Full
Once this bar is almost full, save the game. Your progress bar saves when you save the game, making this the way we are able to force achievements.

Step 4: Reload
Let the duck drop. If the duck that drops isn't the one you want, return to the main menu without saving. Repeat this process until you get a duck you want. Save the game. If you do not need another duck, reload the game so the ducks spawn in on top of each other. If you need another duck, repeat steps 3 and 4.
Special Property Ducks
This is a quick reference to all of the ducks that have different properties that will help with achievements. Check back to this section if you need help identifying different ways to get certain achievements.

Sharp Ducks (Needed for Floatpiercer, Big Loud Explosion, and No Flamingos Allowed):
  • Knife Duck (Base Game)
  • Unicorn Duck (Ducks, Please)
  • Lance Duck (Duck Addiction)
  • Sewing Needle Duck (Ducks Galore)

Flammable Ducks (Needed for On Fire and Watery Help though can also be used for Hot Tub and Firequackers):
  • Wooden Duck (Base Game)
  • Plaid Duck (Base Game)
  • Doodle Duck (Ducks, Please)

Ducks With Fire (Needed for On Fire, Hot Tub, and Firequackers):
  • Godzilla Duck (Base Game)
  • Lava Duck (Base Game)
  • Candle Duck (Ducks, Please)
  • Sparkler Duck (Duck Addiction)
  • All 3 Birthday Cake Ducks (Events)
Base Game Achievements
No funds required!

Collecting
These achievements are unlocked by simply waiting for ducks to drop into your pool. Note this only works with base game ducks. Alternatively you should be able to simply join a multiplayer lobby with the number of ducks required.

Three is Company
3/47 base ducks unlocked

Duck Invasion
20/47 base ducks unlocked

That's All, Ducks!
47/47 base ducks unlocked

Abducktion
Once you get the cow duck, wait. You will eventually watch the cow duck be abducted into a UFO and replaced with the alien duck. This is required for "That's All, Ducks!".

Events
These are random events that will happen on the Infinity Cool map. The player has no control over these events and the achievement will be rewarded upon the event happening.

Private Pool
Have a duck enter the second pool. This can be done by going down the slide or, alternatively, certain ducks like the propeller duck may be able to skip the slide entirely.

High-Rise
Once a duck is in the second pool, they may eventually float over to the opening of the tube and get sucked up into it, netting you the achievement.

Way to the Shore (Hidden)
This achievement is awarded when a duck escapes the pool and manages to end up off in the distance. This is easily achieved by having a propeller duck.

Catch a Flight
A plane will fly overhead, indicated by a loud jet sound.

Cruise Ship
A boat will honk loudly and pass by the waters outside of your pool.

Ducks Adrift
A flock of rubber ducks will swim by the waters outside your pool.

Make a Wish
Once night falls a shooting star might spawn.

Family Pond (Hidden)
The original yellow duck that spawns will eventually have 3 smaller ducks spawn alongside it. These ducks do not count towards "That's All, Ducks!" and cannot be named. Once they spawn, you will get the achievement.

Duck Interactions
Occasionally, ducks may interact with their environment and award you certain achievements. Some can be forced whereas others are entirely random.

Floatpiercer (Hidden)
This achievement is a little harder than the rest. First, the flamingo floatie has to either naturally migrate or be pushed by another duck outside of the pool to either the edge of the pool or into it. Once there, a duck with something sharp has to hit the floatie, making it explode. Check the Special Property Ducks heading for all sharp ducks.

On Fire
Have a flammable duck be lit on fire from another duck. Check the Special Property Ducks heading for all flammable ducks and ducks with fire. This can be forced.

Watery Help
Once a duck is on fire, have another duck extinguish it with water. Note this must be an interaction with another duck and the duck simply being submersed does not extinguish the fire. This can kinda be forced, however, this is wildly inconsistent considering the ducks that spray water do so at intervals.

The list of ducks with water are:
  • Fireman Duck (Base Game)
  • Clown Duck (Ducks, Please)
  • Water Gun Duck (Ducks Galore)

Player Interactions
The below achievement is obtained by the player doing something, a rare sight in Placid Plastic Duck Simulator.

Putting Challenge (Hidden) - Once you get either the stone duck or the marble duck, spectate it. Move your camera around until you get the golf ball in view from under the water. While this can be done with other ducks that may end up underwater, such as the submarine duck, this is wildly inconsistent and not recommended.
Ducks, Please
Overall the first DLC is pretty easy to 100%, especially compared to some of the later DLC. Any pool will work for all 3 achievements and 2/3 can be brute forced.

Duck Interactions

Magnetic Feel
The negatively charged duck and the positively charged duck just simply have to touch one another for this achievement. This is possibly the easiest one to brute force.

Firequackers
Also relatively easy to brute force, you have to have a duck with fire touch the firework duck. Check the Special Property Ducks heading for all ducks with fire. You will have to wait a bit for the duck to launch itself once it is lit on fire.

Beeline
Once the flower duck spawns, wait for it to either rain or snow. Once it does so, the flower on its head should sprout. Once it sprouts, the bee duck will need to come close to the flower duck to "pollinate it", marked by the bee duck revolving around the flower duck. The flower will then sprout, netting you the achievement. Trying to force this achievement does not work, seeing as you unfortunately need rain or snow before the bee duck interacts with the flower duck.
Quacking the Ice
All of these achievements require the player to be on the Quacking the Ice map. I personally recommend using only the base game ducks to nab these achievements, considering you're required to have the propeller duck for one of these achievements and the only other requirement is a fire-wielding duck, which is also found in the base game.

Events

Quacking the Ice
Like with the Infinity Cool map, a duck will naturally go down the slide after some time into the hockey ring.

Fun-Fun-Funicular
Just like the pipe on the Infinity Cool map, a duck will eventually wander over to the funicular, sending it back to the pool.

Off-Piste Ski (Hidden)
A woodpecker will eventually fly over to the tree with the frozen duck, pecking at the branch until it falls with the duck.

Duck Interactions

Hot Tub
Have a duck wander over to the fireplace in the pool and ignite it. Check the Special Property Ducks heading for all ducks with fire. You can technically force ducks to be lit on fire, increasing the odds that a duck lights the fireplace, but there is still waiting on the players part for a duck to wander over to the correct location.

Player Interactions

Scoring Challenge (Hidden)
While in the hockey rink, ducks will bash around the hockey puck. The player cannot control this, however, you need to have your camera on the puck while it is in the goal.

Campfire Simulator (Hidden)
Have the propeller duck do what it does best and leave the map. After it is gone, check the binoculars up by the pool. You will get the achievement when you see the propeller duck roasting a marshmallow.
Duck Addiction
This is the point where DLC achievements can get a little convoluted. It took me awhile to get certain ones lined up so don't worry too much if you struggle.

Duck Interactions

Sailin' On
This achievement can be kind of forced, much like how you can sorta force "Watery Help". Once you have the ship in a bottle duck, the toy duck will need to shatter it with one of its projectiles. Once the ship within the bottle is free, you will earn the achievement.

Player Interactions

Paranormal Activity
Once you get the cyborg duck, switch to the ducks view. It'll scan all ducks that come into view of it, including the invisible ghost duck. It is entirely chance that the cyborg duck will scan a ghost duck floating around the pool, unfortunately.

Hide and Seek
On any map, once the ninja duck drops into the pool it will vanish into one of its hiding spots. If you are having trouble locating them personally, I have a few guides I would recommend. This would be the guide that inspired me to make this, Lighttwo's achievement guide, which features the hiding spots for Infinity Cool and Quacking the Ice maps and Halen's guide to the Hippospace Download map hiding spots. Unfortunately, there is no guide for the Rooftop One Percent map. I might make one idk.
Hippospace Download
This DLC is one of the least documented so it was very frustrating to figure out myself. With it all documented, these achievements shouldn't be too hard for you. Note that all of these achievements require you to be on the Hippospace Download map.

Events

Milk Away
A UFO will occasionally spawn in, bringing cow ducks to a bowl above the Hippospace Download map. After it brings 5 cow ducks, a cow themed floatie will drop down.

O Gravity
Near where the ducks drop down, there is a glowing red dot aka a teleporter. When a duck hits the bottom of the pool near it, it will teleport into the gravity free flask. This is done the easiest with the rock duck or the marble duck but can also be done with something like the submarine duck which occasionally drops underwater. Alternatively, having a lot of ducks spawn at once (like when you load a save with lots of ducks) might push a duck underwater.

Willy in Orbit
This achievement takes a lot of patience. A duck must go through the light tunnel and hit the teleporter inside of it. Upon doing so, the duck will teleport into the space station and give you the achievement.

Player Interaction

Pchooooooo!
Click on the spaceship (or press tab until you spectate it) and push the red button inside of it. It'll launch the duck inside of it and give you the achievement.
So Many Ducks
In my opinion, this DLC has the hardest achievements of the game. It takes a lot of luck, patience, and even a slight amount of skill.

Duck Interactions

Project BFD
The red, blue, and green jelly ducks all need to collide with each other to make a big, white jelly duck. This is very easy to force as it does not matter the order they merge in.

Player Interactions

It's Mining Crypto!
Spectate the crypto miner duck, making the progress bar go up. Once you get the progress to 100% you'll get the achievement.

Annoying Parrot
Rightfully titled, this achievement is pretty annoying. Over time, the parrot duck will learn new phrases and listening to all of them in one session is required. Leaving the save at any point will reset your progress. Supposedly, it should only take you an hour and a half for the parrot duck to learn all phrases. I personally, however, did not get all the phrases within this time limit. I'd recommend idling the game while you do something else and coming back to spam the parrot duck's voice lines.

Play the Game
Without forcing it, this achievement requires a lot of luck. First, you need to have the thief duck collide with the piggy bank duck to steal its coin from its back. You then need to have the thief duck collide with the arcade machine duck to feed it the coin. I would REALLY recommend you force this. Once you have had the coin fed into the arcade machine duck, you can play the game by spectating the duck. I'm unsure if you need to beat the game and unlock the boxed duck to get the achievement, I got the achievement awhile ago, but I would recommend doing this regardless for the cool duck you get as a reward.
Rooftop One Percent
Overall this is probably the easiest DLC. All you need to do is be on the map and wait. If you want to go for this map's achievements, I'd recommend hunting another DLC's ones while you wait.

Events

Weekend at Berna's
Just like with Infinity Cool and Quacking the Ice, you just need to wait for the duck to head over to an elevator and go to the upper pool.

Window Cleaning Service (Hidden)
A window washer duck will make its way down the window of your office and, eventually, end up in your pool.

Manager Meeting (Hidden)
A brick duck will eventually just fall and crash into the meeting of ducks, sending them and itself into the pool.
Ducks Galore
This DLC has a nice balance of achievements I think. It's not hard by any means but it does require a little bit of effort.

Duck Interactions

Hypergraphia
Have the marker duck and the heart duck collide with each other. The marker duck will draw an arrow going through the heart of the heart duck. This can be very easily forced. Personally, this is my favorite achievement because of the wordplay.

Big Loud Explosion
Have a sharp duck collide with the balloon duck. This is very easy to force as well. Check the Special Property Ducks heading for all sharp ducks.

Player Interactions

Pap-O-Matic
This is what the Play the Game achievement wishes it was. When the tamagotchi duck spawns in, the duck on the screen will be an egg. Wait for it to hatch into a duckling. When it does, you'll need to click on the duck a couple of times to feed it. When you've fed it, a heart will appear above its head and the bar at the top of the screen will partially fill up. Wait for the heart to go away and feed it again. Rinse and repeat this until it becomes a bigger duck, then repeat the process until it is fully grown.
Placid Plastic Ducklings
The free DLC. These achievements are relatively easy to get and take very little time to complete.

Events

Lights in the Night
Once you get the ship duckling, the one piloting the larger mechanical duck, wait until night. The mechanical duck's eyes will glow, acting as headlights for it.

Cheese. Moon. Sponge!
Get the sponge duck from the Placid Plastic Ducklings DLC (the sponge duck from Ducks, Please will not work) and wait. Eventually, the duck will absorb a bunch of water and give you the achievement.

Duck Interactions

No Flamingos Allowed
Once you get the flamingo duckling, have a sharp duck poke the flamingo balloon. This is pretty easy to force. Check the Special Property Ducks heading for all sharp ducks.
Virtual Thermae
These 3 achievements are a little annoying, sometimes requiring you to reset in order to achieve them. Note that ALL of these achievements will require a duck to interact with the door, revealing the key duck. Be sure that you utilize both the base game ducks and the ducklings DLC (though the DLC is optional, it speeds up Smeraldo Cove).

Events

Splash!
On the top pool there is a grate outside and on the left. The key duck will unlock the grate by bumping it, notified by the sound of stone scraping. Once a duck falls in they will travel through a pipe into the pool connected to the waterfall, unlocking the achievement.

Smeraldo Cove
In the art gallery there is a small crack in the wall. This crack can fit any duckling, including this packs angel duckling. Once a duckling goes through this crack and into the tiny pool, you'll get the achievement. The main catch to this, however, is that the adult ducks can sometimes get stuck at the crack, blocking any ducklings and forcing you to reset.

Player Interactions

The rightful place
Both the stone and marble ducks will spawn in as normal. However, after a short period of time, these ducks will teleport into the intractable glass display case inside of the art gallery. Once both of these ducks have entered the display case, you can interact with it to get the achievement.
Conclusion
That should be it! Hopefully this guide could help you 100% this supposedly relaxing game. Any other questions you may have I will try to answer in the comments or even straight up add to the guide. Thank you for reading my first guide. <3
