The White XMas map is a map where a plane has crashed carrying Vlads gifts of snow white 'product' that are scattered everywhere, you need to save the day by rescuing the pilot and Vlads precious product.

• It is an escort mission, you are required to escort a drunk pilot to a timber yard shed.
  
• Once at the shed you will need to light a signal flare and wait for a helicopter to arrive at one of the landing zones(LZ) mentioned below.
  
• When the helicopter arrives, you again will be required to escort the pilot to the extraction LZ.
  
• The pilot will board the helicopter and Vlad will ask you go find his presents.
  
• The main thing you are after from the presents is Cocaine see below tips for best place to hold out I used.
  
• A little after the chopper leaves with the pilot you will be required to light the flare again, and this will signal for the helicopter to return and it will actually land this time at one of the LZ's so you can either finish the heist or chuck bags in.
  
• You may do this as many times as you wish before leaving the heist.
  *Use caution throwing bags into the helicopter blades destroys product.

It is as simple as that, you can stay for as long as you want or you can leave at the first helicopter, there is no limit or bag requirement and completing the level on each difficulty results in an achievement.

The helicopter will land at one of the following Landing Zones.

• The Timber Yard
  This is near where the pilot will go and sit inside while you wait for the helicopter to come get him.
  This is the best location to hold out and stock pile bags due to bottle necks and cover.
  
  
• The Crash Site
  This is close to where you first find the pilot, the helicopter will hover between the Train and the downed burning plain.
  
  
• The Antenna
  This is located at the back left corner(when using where you come in from as reference).
  From the Timber Yard Shed if you should see a downed tree crossing a gully, the antenna is towards the right of that, if looking from the Timber Yard.

• Cocaine
  
• Jewelry
  
• Cash
  
• Health
  
• Ammo
  
• Toy Duck
  
• Toy Bear
  
• Bobblehead Bulldozer
  
• Almir Doll
  
• Toast - Very rare, valuable and grants achievement.

The contents of the presents is random, but you will mainly find Cocaine and Toys.
Other items are a little more rare, with toast being very rare.

Here are a few tips or pointers on the map in general.

Cocaine doubles as artifical snow, don't beleive me?
Throw some into the blades of a helicopter...
NO.. Don't, it will vanish in a white powdery puff.

• Bag Limit / Requirement:
  There is no limit or bag requirement, you can escort the pilot and leave with 0 Cocaine.
  This is viable if you just want the masks.
  
  
• Get the Starting Packages:
  There is quite a few presents on the map when you start, so have 1 person escort the pilot and get others to scout out presents to maximize profit, especially if you want to do quick runs.
  
  
• Best Holdout:
  The best location I have found to hold out is the building the pilot will lead you to, it is very central and not only offers good bottlenecks but also plenty of cover to hide behind when things get rough.
  There are other viable locations, but this is by far the easiest and most common used.
  
  
• Wait for the Lumber Yard LZ:
  The Lumber Yard is one of the LZ's the helicopter will land at, as such it is the best one to hold out for.
  If you are playing on anything over Hard / Very Hard, I would recommend you not move bags if you have a lot until the helicopter lands near the Lumber Yard as you will all be together and be able to secure them quicker and safer.
  *Of course, if you are not holding out at the Lumber Yard then waiting for your closes LZ is advised.
  
  
• Don't get too greedy!:
  Like any map, that allows you to get more loot if you stay longer, it is easy to loose sight of danger and over extend.
  What I find works well is if you limit yourself to 15 - 30 Mins MAX.
  I have been in one game(looking for toast) where the Host wanted to stay on, long story short.. 55 Mins in we all got downed(We were going to extract at 1 Hour).. around 5 Million worth of Cocaine written off.

This section will cover how to get the first four masks and as such achievments.
These masks are awards from obtaining achievements that are given by simply completing the White XMas map on the following difficulty levels:

• Normal
  
• Hard
  
• Very Hard
  
• OVERKILL

Obtaining these masks is very straight forward.. complete the level.
Essentially follow the instructions provided above.
If you want to go straight for the masks, simply escort the pilot, get him out of the area and extract on the first helicopter that arrives, there is no bag limit though it does not hurt to grab a couple bags for the trouble.

The fifth and final mask you can obtain on the White XMas 2014 map is Almirs Beard which can only be obtained by doing the heist on Deathwish and as such if successful will grant you both the mask and two achievements:

• Like Turkeys Voting for an Early Christmas
  
• Riders On the Snowstorm

But more about the beard..


To obtain this mask you must meet the following criteria:

• Play White XMas on DEATHWISH
  
• Each player MUST wear one of the first four masks mentioned above.

With the above met, completing this is not too hard provided you have a skilled up team who can take a punch.
The method I found best for this is to have one person, who ever can dodge or tank confidently basically run out during quieter times and kick the pilot up the butt to move him along when he passes out.

Other than that, there is not much else you can do, get him up when you can, and get out ASAP.
It is not super hard, but if you do not have a good level of skill points you may struggle as it is Deathwish.

Alongside getting the mask simply completing the level on Deathwish will grant you the 'Like Turkeys Voting for an Early Christmas' achievement.

The last achievement you will be chasing unless you worship the RNG gods and or are just generally lucky is the Toast achievement.

This is a pure chance achievement in that you can get it from any present laying around or that might drop.
