Basic ICBM
These basic missiles are what you'll be defending for most of the game. These come in multiple sizes. Smaller ones travel faster and bigger ones slower.
MIRVed ICBM
These multi-warhead missiles split into several after a while. They are distinguished from basic missiles in appearance. Getting them early thus prevents them from "splitting" into more missiles.
Bomber
Bombers return from the original Missile Command, visibly holding 3 missiles which they will drop at certain points. These are the first advanced enemies you will encounter.
Smart Bomb
Smart Bombs also return from the original Missile Command. They have the ability to dodge your explosions somewhat, so you will need better accuracy to destroy these. Fortunately, these don't avoid your attacks as aggressively as they did back in the original arcade version, so these are not as difficult to take out.
Scatterer
Saucer-shaped enemies that behave like advanced Bombers. They hold more missiles than Bombers and can be troublesome if you don't get rid of them before they drop the missiles, as they will drop all the missiles at once, after which they become pretty much harmless.
Killer Satellite
These Satellites now became much more deadly, as they would charge up for a deadly laser shot that takes out one of your Missile Silos or Cities near-instantaneously. These should be your priority when they appear, as they will become devastating if left on the screen for too long.
Mortars and Super Mortars
It is unclear how the enemy was able to get so close on land to our territory, however, we shall deal with them anyway. These vehicles park on the sides of the screen before shooting regular missiles and MIRVed missiles at your Cities and Silos. They distract the player's fire from the threats from above, but aren't themselves the biggest threats.
Carrier
Smart Bomb Carriers act like Bombers, but deploy Smart Bombs instead. They're enemies that you would face in later stages.
