Reasons why do you NEED to get 5 stars Yuuka.

𝘿𝙤 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙩? 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙚.

𝟭. Yuuka is a tank character, especially her thighs. At the start of the game, she'll provide you as amazing meat shield, cathing all the bullets with her EX-skill.

𝟮. During the mid-game (𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟒𝟎+). She'll carry your team just by 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 enemy's bullets. As an example we can take some others characters like 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗮 (the purple haired tank from Problem solvers 68). She has pretty low evasion - 𝟮𝟯𝟳. Her evasion won't rise higher, but her defence will get better with her items. (level tested on: 60. Relatioship rank:10. Stars level:3. T1 items.)
Meanwhile 𝗬𝘂𝘂𝗸𝗮 has 𝟭𝟰𝟰𝟬 evasion (level tested on: 60. Relatioship rank:10. Stars level:3. T1 items.)

𝟯. If you'll uprage her relationship rank to 15, you'll be able to get her gift item, which gives 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

Why do you need to upgrade Yuuka's unique item and relatioship rank?

𝟭.𝟭 Her Unique gives you 500 defence as soon, as you unlock it. [Level 15 relatioship]

𝟭.𝟮 After reaching level 20 of relationship, you can unlock the second buff of her unique item. Every 15 seconds, Yuuka's 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 deals 𝟯𝟮𝟵~𝟲𝟮𝟱% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increases Yuuka's Evasion by 𝟮𝟲~𝟯𝟯.𝟴% for 10 seconds. The difference between numbers, depends on level of your 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹.

lvl 1
Every 15 seconds, deal 329% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 26% for 10 seconds.
lvl 2
Every 15 seconds, deal 345% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 26% for 10 seconds.
lvl 3
Every 15 seconds, deal 362% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 26% for 10 seconds.
lvl 4
Every 15 seconds, deal 428% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 28.6% for 10 seconds.
lvl 5
Every 15 seconds, deal 444% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 28.6% for 10 seconds.
lvl 6
Every 15 seconds, deal 461% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 28.6% for 10 seconds.
lvl 7
Every 15 seconds, deal 527% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 31.2% for 10 seconds.
lvl 8
Every 15 seconds, deal 543% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 31.2% for 10 seconds.
lvl 9
Every 15 seconds, deal 560% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 31.2% for 10 seconds.
lvl 10
Every 15 seconds, deal 625% damage to one enemy. Additinally, increase Yuuka's Evasion by 33.8% for 10 seconds.

Why do you need to upgrade Yuuka to 𝟯 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀?

The main reason, of increasing her HP and Healing. Yuuka's 𝗘𝗫-𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. The bigger her healing number, the better the barrier she applies.

At full stars, you increase her 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 affinity to A tier. The increasment of it, may not fully help you, because Yuuka is not positioned as a DMG dealer. Yet it worth achieving to increase early mentioned HP+Healing.

Should you use Yuuka in PvP?

If you're a fat 38 years old gamer, who lives with his mother, and says things like "This character isn`t op, I won't use it" You don`t need to use Yuuka in pvp because her DPS might be too low for your sweaty gamer chair.

But if you just play for fun and pleasure you can freely use Yuuka in PvP.

I have seen more memes about try-harders who come up with the excuses of "I just play this competitively" and "I don't play this competitively" to determine if a game is fun in their own eyes. I'm glad more and more people are starting to reject this mentality.

Yuuka's dodge tanking prowess is made obsolete after Kuroko was released. Turns out not being able to die for 15 second ala DRK Living Dead is more useful than increased evasion, especially if you're also a potent DPS unit.

As a sensei who has Yuuka at her maximum possible level with all talent levels at 25.
Yuuka is really insane as a tank on par with Tsubaki and, recently, Miyako. I seen her tank Hod and Peroro Laser in Insane Difficulty.

Yuuka is The Evasion Tank , she is the only unit (as of writing) that has the highest amount of EVA stat in the game and is built with an insane amount of HP.
She falls off end-game though when tackling Raids, Challenges, and Final Restriction Release
But if you need a great tank, especially when you're in a pinch at end-game content, you can always pick the very first tank you received from the game.
