Tactical Bodycam Tablet – Live Feed SWEP

A live-feed tactical tablet for RP and surveillance gameplay.

This addon adds a tablet that allows players to view a live camera feed from another player's point of view.
Perfect for police RP, SWAT coordination, tactical events, training scenarios, or immersive surveillance gameplay.

• Attach a bodycam to another player by holding RMB on them for a few seconds
  
• Press Reload (R) to open or close the tablet
  
• Press LMB + E to remove (take off) the bodycam (for bodycam owner).
  
• Support for multiple bodycams – switch between them using the tablet interface
  
• Two-way voice transmission – hear and talk to players through their bodycams
  
• Tablet shows live feed from the target player's eye position
  
• Night vision toggle built into the tablet UI
  
• HUD overlay with player name and timestamp
  
• Auto-disconnect on death
  
• Camera device appears visually on player’s spine
  
• Added a bodycam icon in the top-right corner of the screen when a bodycam is attached.
  
• Admin command !bcremove to remove bodycams from a player.

Q: How do I switch between players?
A: Use the on-screen arrow buttons on the tablet to switch between multiple bodycams.

Q: Can I configure the system?
A: Yes! Go to Q → Options → Antke → BodyCam to adjust settings like max bodycams, attach time, and more.

Q: Can I attach to NPCs?
A: Yes, some NPCs are supported. Birds and certain non-humanoids are not.

Q: Can bodycams be destroyed?
A: No, currently bodycams are invulnerable and stay active until the player dies or the tablet is closed.

Q: Can you hear sounds from bodycams?
A: Yes, voice chat is transmitted from and to the selected bodycam target. Other environmental sounds are not included.

Q: Which nextbots are supported?
A: Any nextbot from any base that contains a 3D rig. 2D nextbots are not supported.

Q: The entity model is clipping through the camera/Everything is dark!
A: You can adjust the "Camera Near Clip Plane" slider or tick the "Hide entity model on tablet view" option found in Q → Options → Antke → BodyCam.

Q: The camera is facing the wrong direction?!
A: This usually happens because the addon could not find a head attachment or bone to use as the nextbot's eyes and it may have chosen a chest attachment that is not facing the expected direction. There is no counter-measure to fix this, please file an issue here and provide a link to the nextbot addon pack and the nextbot name that you are having this issue with.

Q: I'm having difficulties attaching to a nextbot/Can't attach at all to a nextbot!
A: Some nextbots are tricky to attach a camera to due to their complex models. Look down at the ground and spawn the nextbot, then equip the SWEP and try attaching a camera; try enabling noclip and moving around very slowly while trying to attach – sometimes you have to find the sweet spot.

Q: Why can I attach to props or doors?
A: Some addons mask objects like props and doors as entities due to their extra functionality.
