The Heisters That Canonically (to an extent) Did Each Heist, in Timeline Order
By gwa gwa
An age old question which I really want to try and tackle in this guide. It's also my first time writing a guide full stop, so please bare with me if it's really bad, or laid out incorrectly, or whatever.

Factors determining how I make my conclusions here:
- Trailers
- Artwork
- Steam Screenshots
- TheKknowley's story video (sorry..)

I hope this is somewhat useful :)

I've also included the PD:TH repeats in this list. If you're using this guide to conduct your own narrative playthrough, you can skip them as you see fit. Don't skip Heat Street or Green Bridge though, the Payday 2 versions are canon!!

The Tutorials
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
These are canon, with the Stealth tutorial occuring first, then Loud.
Jewellery Store
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
I consider this the first heist to take place in Payday 2 and the Washington spree, a simple warm up job. Unlike the forthcoming Bank Heist, we don't really have much on multiple of these Jewellery Store hits taking place, but the FBI Files say it was hit "a number of times", very insightful.

Bank Heist
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
This is an example of a heist that got repeated a good few times, with different trailers showcasing different hits. At least 3 of these were done, and quite likely happened again and again as more members joined the gang (Scarface and Sangres trailers).

Diamond Store
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
I'm beginning to get bored of writing these guys' names.
Every heist up until after Hoxton Breakout was done exclusively by these four, but I'll keep writing them down anyway, even though it'll do my head in.

GO Bank
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

Armoured Transports
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
All of the transport heists are canon (ignore how Career mode tells you to do only 3) and honestly can be done in any order, but Transport: Train happened last.

Shadow Raid
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
As can be seen in Meltdown, the vault housing the samurai armour is empty, meaning that the gang emptied the place completely during this heist.

Mallcrasher
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

Four Stores
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

Ukrainian Job
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

Nightclub
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
No, Aftershock did not happen this early. I'm going off the release date of the heist, not what Career Mode states. Mostly because Aftershock actually had a very wacky heister lineup tackling it, which will be fun to share.

Watchdogs
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
This heist's intro pisses me off. The intro has voice lines from heisters that weren't in the gang at the time, terrible for immersion. This isn't the only heist that has this, too. Probably a mod to fix it.. hopefully.

Firestarter
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
Canonically, Day 2 was done loud.

Rats
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

Big Oil
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
Whilst I cannot confirm, I will assume that Day 2 was done in stealth.

Framing Frame
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
Based on the wording in the FBI Files, all 3 days were done in stealth.

Election Day
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
Once again, both days were done in stealth.

The Big Bank
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
This was done loud, with the Beast drill being used over thermite and helicopter escape taking place (even though it's the most inconvenient)

Hotline Miami
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
No, Jacket wasn't here. Get a grip.

By this point in the story, Jacket was in communication with the gang, as can be seen in the trailer for the heist, but wouldn't join the gang properly for a while.

Art Gallery
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
In the wake of Hoxton's breakout, the gang would return to the art gallery they robbed during Framing Frame, but this time to line their own pockets. Once again, this was committed under the radar.

Hoxton Breakout
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

White Xmas
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
By this point, Hoxton had been broken out, John Wick had joined the gang and Clover was close to making her mark too, but I'll assume that this was done by the new Core Four.

The Diamond
Dallas, Hoxton, Houston, Clover
Based off the trailer, I'm going to assume that this heist was done in stealth.

The Bomb: Forest
Dallas, Chains, Wolf, Dragan
Both this and The Bomb: Dockyard happened simultaneously, aided by the now 8 man strong crew, featuring a certain new face, one charismatic Croat.

The Bomb: Dockyard
Hoxton, Houston, John Wick, Clover
There is zero evidence as to whether this heist was done in loud or stealth. I'd assume stealth, based on this lineup of some of the crew's sneakiest, but I couldn' tell you with definiteness.

Car Shop
Hoxton, Houston, John Wick, Clover (?)
Between this heist and the Bomb heists, Jacket joined the gang officially, but wouldn't see any fieldwork for a while.

I don't see it likely that he would have attended this heist, and due to the stealth only nature of the heist, I'm assigning some of the quieter heisters to it. This is the first heist where I simply do not know who went.

Hoxton Revenge
Dallas, Hoxton, Clover, Bonnie
Bonnie joined the gang between Car Shop and this, in order to assist with helping Hoxton find out who got him arrested.

Based on the wording on the FBI Files, I'm assuming this was done loud.

Meltdown
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Houston
Once again, this is based on the heist's release date. How could a heist clearly featuring Hoxton on the poster take place before his breakout, hm?

The Alesso Heist
Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, Clover
I'm assuming this was done in stealth, mostly because it makes no logistical sense for this to be loud. Why would they not evacuate the arena if four masked and armoured criminals in possession of military grade weaponry just strolled on in? Must the show really go on?

Cook Off
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
Based on Bain's dialogue in the opening of the heist, he says "you'll remember the place", hinting at the new Core Four.

This return was canon, by the way, but the amount of meth cooked is undisclosed, but it was enough to "flood the streets with ice".

Golden Grin Casino
Dallas, Chains, Wolf, Sokol
This one was a proper head scratcher. The trailer features Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf and Sokol planning the heist. That's five. Not four.

As the heist was canonically loud, I've knocked off Houston from the lineup, but I honestly don't know.

Aftershock
Chains, Hoxton, Jacket, Jiro
Between the casino hit and now, Jiro had come knocking at Bain's door, seeking membership within the gang while he searched for his son. Jiro would then be flown out to LA, alongside some heavy hitters, to claim Vlad's weapon shipment in the wake of an earthquake rupturing through the Los Angeles highway network.

This is canonically Jacket's first heist, which is exciting.

First World Bank
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Wolf
How many times have they hit this bloody bank? Is this number 3?

Slaughterhouse
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Wolf
The screenshots only show Dallas, Chains and Wolf, but I've filled the hole with Hoxton.

Beneath the Mountain
Hoxton, Wolf, John Wick, Bonnie
Hoxton canonically used a Flamethrower Mk. 1 on this heist, for some reason, Just a fun fact.

Birth of Sky
Dallas, Chains, Jacket, Bodhi
Bodhi's first heist and Jacket's second heist.

Santa's Workshop
Dallas, Dragan, Jacket, Sokol
Confusingly, screenshots also dictate Jiro and Bodhi's presence, but those two being there seems illogical to me.

Goat Simulator
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Wolf
I'm using this lineup, based on the trailer for the heist. May God save us all.

Counterfeit
Chains, Wolf, Jacket, Bodhi

Undercover
Dallas, Chains, Wolf, Sokol
Technically, only Dallas, Wolf and Sokol are in the screenshots, but I've plugged the gap with Chains.

Murky Station
Chains, Sokol, Jiro, Jimmy
Jimmy's first heist.
This heist also takes place before Boiling Point, which you probably already knew. The EMP stolen here is what is used in Boiling Point.

Boiling Point
Chains, John Wick, Dragan, Jacket
This one, like Santa's Workshop and Golden Grin Casino, features more than four heisters in the promotional material; featuring Jimmy in some images.

Based on how Bain talks about Jimmy as if he isn't there on this heist (talking about Jimmy paying the gang for more server info), I'm assuming he wasn't. He was likely just overseeing the mission alongside Bain.

Sydney's Party Crashing
Hoxton, Clover, Sokol, Jimmy
As has been confirmed, Sydney joined up with the gang after sabotaging a bank robbery, so I've elected to include it here.

Whilst we know little to nothing about the crew Sydney sabotaged, we can compile some of the gang's vault cracking experts and the new member of Jimmy as the potential members, but we may never know.

The Biker Heist
Dallas, Chains, Dragan, Rust
Despite screenshots displaying a large array of heisters, I've gone with the four featured in the Biker trailers.

Panic Room
Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, Sydney
On the Hoxton's Housewarming Party website, Sydney wanted to do the Panic Room job, so that's why she's here.

Stealing Xmas
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf
With zero screenshots to go off of, I've just gone with the new Core Four.

Scarface Mansion
Dallas, Chains, Jiro, Sydney
Scarface's presence at this heist is not confirmed, and honestly unlikely. Scarface's presence in the gang as a whole is honestly confusing. Don't think about it.

Loud.

Brooklyn 10-10
Dallas, Chains, John Wick, Scarface (?)
Another confusing one. The screenshots show Dallas, Chains and Wick, but no fourth. I've chosen Scarface as my fourth, because he had just joined the gang and should see some time in the field, but I don't know.

The Yacht Heist
John Wick
Based off the screenshots we have, I think this may have been a Wick solo heist. I really don't know about this one.

Heat Street
Dallas, Chains, Bonnie, Jiro
This repeat is actually canon, unlike the rest (bar two).

Green Bridge
Houston, Wolf, Jiro, Sydney
The second canon repeat.

Alaskan Deal
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Wolf

Diamond Heist
Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, Duke
The final canon repeat. This was done in stealth.

Reservoir Dogs Heist
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Wolf

Brooklyn Bank
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Wolf

Breakin' Feds
Chains, Hoxton, Wolf, Duke
The intro to the heist features conversations between Chains and Duke, usually about donuts. Duke mentions Hoxton too, giving us three, and I've included Wolf too, as he shoots the camera in the trailer.

Henry's Rock
Dallas, Chains, Jiro, Duke

Shacklethorne Auction
Dallas, Chains, Houston, Duke
The FBI Files wording for this heist is very unclear, but I'd assume this was done in stealth.

Hell's Island
Chains, Hoxton, Jiro, Duke

Border Crossing
Clover, Sokol, Sydney, Sangres
Canonically loud, according to trailers. This heist also took place simultaneously alongside Hell's Island

San Martín Bank
Clover, Sokol, Sydney, Sangres
Once again canonically happened loud, with the "Vlad's Surprise" asset being how they entered the bank, which would lead to the events of Breakfast in Tijuana.

Breakfast in Tijuana
Clover, Sokol, Sydney, Sangres
Canonically loud, according to trailers.

Buluc's Mansion
Clover, Sokol, Sydney, Sangres
Canonically loud, according to trailers.

Dragon Heist
Dragan, Bonnie, Rust, Joy
Canonically loud, according to trailers.

The Ukrainian Prisoner
Dragan, Bonnie, Rust, Joy
Canonically loud.

Black Cat
Dragan, Bonnie, Rust, Joy
Canonically loud, featuring some of Bonnie's finest minigun action.

Mountain Master
Dragan, Bonnie, Rust, Joy
Canonically loud.

Midland Ranch
Clover, Bonnie, Jiro, Sangres
Loud. Still can't get over how funny Jiro looks on his golf cart in the trailer.

Lost in Transit
Clover, Bonnie, Jiro, Sangres
Canonically done loud.

Hostile Takeover
Clover, Bonnie, Jiro, Sangres
Loud.

Crude Awakening
Clover, Bonnie, Jiro, Sangres
The final Payday 2 heist, so it's rather fitting that it was done loud.

The White House
Dallas, Chains, Hoxton, Duke
The FBI Files lies about this heist, for some reason. It was indeed done loud, but the gang did not die / get arrested like it states there. They broke in, stole the pardons, and retired. Well, for the time being..

Parting Words
I hope this was useful :)
I wanted to make this because I am deeply passionate about the lore of Payday, and for a first guide I'd say this went alright?
Thank you Overkill for making this wonderful franchise, you weird, weird company.

I'm going to bed
