This guide will be useful to all those who want to play Prototype 2 in a new way!

All modifications are installed below. Many textures have been replaced, graphics have been tightened up and the flaws of the vanilla game have been fixed, now the game looks fresh.

• Prototype 2 Textures Warcaco Graphics Mod (By Warcaco) (Textures 2K4K) (1.0)

This is not a build with an "exe" file for installation, I can't do that. So you will have to install and configure it yourself (MANUAL INSTALLATION ONLY) (you must already have purchased and installed Prototype 2)

1. You must have PURCHASED and INSTALLED a clean Prototype 2, the latest version. (LICENSE ONLY!)
   
2. Once you download and install, run a clean Prototype 2.
   
3. Install all .EXE files x86 and x64 DirectX and Visual C++
   
4. Drop everything from the Prototype2Fix archive into the root folder with the game (if necessary, replace)
   
5. Run the game and check that everything works.
   
6. Run ReShade_Setup_6.5.1.exe and select the path with the game (Example Steam\steamapps\common\Prototype 2\prototype2.exe), then select DirectX9 and click next-next to the end.
   
7. Drop my file ReShadePreset.ini (with replacement) to the root folder with the game.
   
8. Run the game and check that ReShade works.
   
9. If it does not work, select ReShadePreset.ini in the game.
   
   
   
   
10. Toggle HUD drop it into the root folder with the game (if necessary to replace, replace)
    
11. Drop the "Texmod textures" folder and "Texmod.exe" into the root folder with the game.
    
12. Run the Texmod.exe file. (as administrator)
    
13. In the "Target Application" tab, you need to select the path to the game, and in the "Package Name" tab, you will need to select the textures that will be displayed in the game. (The textures are in the "Texmod textures" folder)
    
    
    
    
14. Once you have selected the textures, press the "Run" button and play.
    
15. Unfortunately, you will always have to launch the game via "Texmod.exe" if you want your textures to be in high resolution.

Prototype 2 Remastered (1.2)[boosty.to]

It may seem complicated, but it's just the opposite. I had a hard time putting it all together, but you'll only need to install it in one sitting according to the instructions provided.
You'll only need patience and attention, although I've written everything out sequentially and in detail.

I have collected all the mods to improve the visual effect. As a result, I decided to share with people who do not want to install all this from scratch. Many thanks to the modders for releasing various mods and not forgetting about such a great game! Enjoy the game!
