PROJECT ECHO – NoahJ456's 5th Mapping Tournament

Deep beneath a derelict facility, time and reality collapses.

Decades ago, Echo Division operated in complete secrecy—tasked with one mission: manipulate space and memory through quantum resonance. The experiments failed. Or so they thought. Now, the facility stirs again, its halls haunted by more than echoes.

You are not the first to enter. You may not be the last to leave.

This project was completed in about 2 weeks time, so many things were either reduced or scrapped completely. We hope you enjoy what we have so far and would like you to know we do plan on expanding on this concept in the future

2 players doesn't work correctly. You get stuck in the different stages unless the host kills himself. If they changed stages and you are left behind the game gets fully stuck.

This seems really really cool however the first area I had landed in from teleporting (the courtyard more specifically) was performing really really badly..
My pc has decent specs and can run games like Doom Eternal at max with a stable 100+ fps, so this is a little concerning when the map decides to drop below 10fps..
Still looks great and will be keeping an eye out for it if and when an update comes to this (obviously after the contest is over)..

Also your first time coding?.

Was my first time coding a map tbh and didn’t have a lot of time to test unfortunately, when Noah’s contest is over I plan on working out a lot of the bugs, I appreciate the feedback!

Just played the map. Cool concept, I don't know if it is buggy or if I was just super unlucky.

I got sent to the lockdown area twice, and I did not get any weapons. The mystery box there was not working.

I got sent to the buttons area, I was interacting with the buttons but nothing was happening

I got sent to the papers area, found only one paper and died.

The maps is difficult and I am not the best player but it seems impossible to me ngl. I got the weapon drop just once, and I got the PAP drop but it does not actually pap anything
