Acid Rain: Works well with Pyre Heat to get through the early game and deal with fragile enemies.

Life Mother's Pyre Hearth: Allows you to duplicate key cards.

Strategy:

Stack up spell weakness and Pyre Heat to achieve instant spell kills.

My personal cards recommendations:


At the start of Covenant 1, try to get Siphon and AoE spells.

As you progress, delete unnecessary cards from your deck (Stewards and some frozen lances) while aiming to create a double-returning Siphon card, then duplicate it.

Add more card draw and Pyre Heat stacking cards.

Biggest Pitfall: The greatest risk is encountering Immortals (Eyeball Monsters) as guardians on map 5. If they are affected by Duality upon entering, they will have 16 stacks of Revival, making them nearly impossible to defeat with this strategy.



Approach Two: Hellhorned Inferno (No Summon Speedrun)
This approach leverages the direct damage of Hellhorned without summoning units.

Recommended Mutators:

Same as above. You can swap Duality for Zoom, Enhance.

Recommended Pyre Hearth:

Dominion Titan's Pyre Hearth: Very beneficial for this strategy.

Strategy:

After unlocking Hellhorned, choose a no-covenant start and pick four cards. Aim for a starting hand that includes Inferno.

Create a 1-cost Infernocard and then duplicate it.

Throughout the entire run, focus solely on playing Inferno cards.

This challenge is easier than the no-summon run and allows for more build flexibility.
In the demo, the player uses Dragon Mother with Greed (Quick ensures she acts early to generate gold), and Lazarus is used early on to provide some gear support and not using starter spells.

All four units belong to the Banished clan.

The Death Metal Harpist unlocks at Banished level 9.
