Summary
Hello everyone,
Below are my thoughts on playing ''My Little Life'', combined with insights from other players.
I hope this can be helpful for beginners.

1. Once a house wall is built, it cannot be removed.
So make sure to have a rough layout in mind before you start building.

2. Right-click on furniture to change its direction.
Left-click on lights to turn them on or off. Left-click on the bed to help make it. You can also turn the fridge and TV on or off.

3. When building a second floor, you need two staircases—one going up and one going down.
With only one staircase, you won't be able to access the second floor.

4. Don't make the first child a farmer.
The farmer job only becomes profitable in the later stages of the game. Early on, it's hard to make money as a farmer.
Also, taking care of crops is time-sensitive, and you'll notice kids often neglect the crops, doing other things or just wandering around.

5. If you do choose the farmer career later on, crops sell for a high price.
However, you don't need to plant too many—2 or 3 of each crop is enough, because kids won't take care of crops that are too far from the house.

6. Make sure to tick the ''Work'' button, or the child won't work and will just do other things instead.
7. Let one child reach the max level of a job before inviting a second child.
Focus on making money first. Don't rush. You'll need money to expand the house and buy the second child’s work-related items.

8. On the left-hand furniture menu, look for the ''T'' button.
It categorizes furniture by needs—such as Nature, Communal, Creative, Fitness, Handiness, Sleep, Hunger, etc.
Clicking it will neatly sort all furniture according to their purpose.
9. About Communal spaces:
For cooking, each child must have their own Hotplate and Small Fridge—these cannot be shared.
However, other cooking tools can be shared.

Chairs and beds must be one per child, so assign colors to their areas accordingly.

Toilets, bathtubs, and sinks can be set as public and shared.
If set as public, you don't need to assign area colors for those.

10. To improve a child's skills, items must be placed in the correct colored zone.
If the item is in the wrong color zone, it won't work for skill growth.

11. If Child A needs points from an item that Child B already owns,
you don't need to buy another one.
Just change the area color of the item to match Child A, and the points will count toward A.

However, Child B's points will decrease accordingly.
So it's best to take points from a child who has already maxed out their job level.

12. Once you choose a profession, you can't change it midway unless you reach the top level.

13. If a child changes jobs, their earnings will be calculated starting from the lower level.

14. Later in the game, Person's Quests is that ''Have all my needs above 70%''.
First, you need to stop working.
Then, remove all entertainment items for the children.
The children will only use furniture that satisfies their physiological needs, so they'll reach the goal quickly.

After completing the requirement, remember to re-tick the work option so the children can start working again.

Some children have two dreams. After completing the first one, you need to delete the entertainment item related to that dream, because only then will they focus on playing with the second entertainment item.

These are my gameplay notes. I hope they help you enjoy the game and reach your goals! 😊
