Act I
Tutorial:

Parrying is too be done after the attack, and by quite some time.
Stuck on this part here? Grab the key off this crate, and head upwards.

Post Tutorial:

After the tutorial you will pass a door with six flower pots.
You need to collect five flowers, and then return to this gate. Place the flowers in the empty flower pots, and get access to Act II. That is the goal.

Toolboxes are a key part of the game. Toolboxes can open vents, and remove planks.

The ruins is an area, that has both the ruins key, and two flowers. Ya know that big room with the two annoying drones that shoot projectiles? Under the building there is a planked off area. Use a toolbox to get in. That area is the ruins. The ruins key is a bit hidden, here it is:
Act II
Act II is a lot more complicated than Act I, but if you know how it works its not that hard.
First off, I'll explain the basic structure:

You goal is to collect six skulls, and must traverse six different mini-game levels to collect these skulls. Only one skull is spawned at a time, so you must go to the room it is in rather than do each room as you please. The method of traversal through each level is a well. To open the well you must interact with three crystals. The method for doing this is different with each mini-game.

At the start of your run the only way to know the position of the skull is to look at these spears, in the hub:

The number of spears lit dictates which room number the skull is in. To find which room you are currently in look at the decals on the well.

The well will move you to a different room depending on the glyphs inputted at the top of the well. The part that confuses most players is the glyphs' meanings. I've created a concise summary of what I think they do:

"What do you mean by "flips value"?
Like this:
6 to 1
5 to 2
4 to 3
3 to 4
2 to 5
1 to 2

I've been informed that "plus 3" actually does some weird things based on whether the number is even or odd. IDK just don't use it.
Act III
Attack the Witch god with Sea Breather's swords. I recommend ignoring the enemies, if you go fast enough you all of their attacks will miss.
