I forgot to mention I played on EDuke32 in SP without cheats of course.

Overall I liked this map, there were tons of health items (and the fountains at beginning of map), so I didn't have problems with balance but I think even for a skilled player like me, the part after nuke button was a bit frustrating with all monsters shooting from all angles, don't you think?

I played this map yesterday and found it a bit frustrating after the nuke button part.

Before that, I only died 2 times at beginning of the map (at first protector drone horde) because I tried to squish 2 shrunken octabrains but got clawed to death by protectors and other time I got shrunk and they stepped on me. I didn't have problems with mini battlelords and all the crap I had to fight but after 2-3 similar rooms, it started getting boring (same mini battlelords, same commander trap) until I reached nuke button. I save game, end level in normal way, reload game and see what's next.

After that, I died like 10-15 times in the huge horde outside and got frustrated (I am fine with dying once in a while but it's frustrating IMO when I die a couple of times in same part). After 10 minutes, I managed to save scum my way and fight the emperor. Died 2 more times at the fight until I kick his ass.

Was a fun co op survival map I normally don't really like the hole survival thing much at all but I had lot of fun here with friends. Especially liked the first room that was nicely planned out with enemies respawning and opening the doors to a new set to wipe out. But I also agree with Sam about portals and the repeat room part. Anyway thanks for another map had lot of fun buddy. Took a screenshot of playing co op :) http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/id/Duke64Nukem/screenshot/544138047751109220

I'm lovin' it! Also, the water fountains at the start heal 8 [+] per gulp.
Difficulty Rating: 3.5 out of 5. Challenging but not overwhelming. Requires lots of save/load.

What does Reavonal mean?

My only gripes about it are that it's basically impossible in single player, and that there aren't any shortcuts. I get it, it's made for co op but you can TRY SP and use cheats if you want... it just doesn't function well as an SP map is all I mean. And by shortcuts, I mean maybe a portal or two unlocking after you get so far would be nice so you don't have to retract the entire level if you die. It'd just be convenient but obviously it still works without it. And that may be intentional because I know that with the infinite spawns I didn't mind dying... until the length to run back to the action got long and then I was trying hard not to die so I wouldn't have to make the long jog again. It was neat.
