Description
As of Rimworld Build Version 1.6.4510 rev808, this mod is now only an XML patch.
As they have fixed "Fix: Prioritize deep drilling with mech gives NRE".

Thanks! No idea why, but this mod work muuuuuuuch more better then "Tunnelers ARE deep drills"

@Paunda you're not. For a brief moment tunnelers where able to deep drill after they fixed the XP bug. Now it's been reverted and once again you need mods to enable tunnelers to deep drill. I temporally mentioned in the mod description that it was no longer needed, but when I noticed they reverted the change I removed that part. Does it still say somewhere that it's no longer needed?

am I crazy or do tunnelers still not use deep drills in base game? just did a dev quicktest with no mods installed and they have not been deep drilling. did this feature not make it to 1.6?

Actually still kind of need this for some mod mechs like Shaft Workers from The Dead Man's Switch to be able to deep drill.

@Gorbage Yep, now they can. Initially it wasn't working on 1.6! There was a few bug fixes later that fixed it!.

Vanilla tunnelers can already deep drill in 1.6, this mod literally changes nothing

@Obama³, I've added back the previous versions. So now yes, but I highly recommend supporting the previous modders and using their versions.
