Description
A vanilla-rework mod. For now, this mod adds new regions with special subareas and a bit more than a hundred ships. Generally speaking, these ships are of much higher quality than vanilla vessels and are much stronger. Regions have much higher spawn limits, there's both more ships and bigger ships... with some allowance for modded vessels that are even bigger than ~3000p).
This mod is designed for 200% Galaxy Size. Larger is fine, but smaller is a mess.

Outside of the direct goal of improving ships and regions, this mods adds a few new toys to playable factions and comes with a visual overhaul which skins all launchers and puts thrusters underneath the hull.

In the future I will be adding more rare encounters and otherwise populating space with points of interest.

Does this mod fix the issue of overlapping ships causing extreme slowdown in the game?

oh the thrusters are literally just drawn under hull. this doesn't come up under normal circumstances. however, this mod adds a lot of designs which make use of stacked blocks and the change just helps them look a little nicer and less glitchy/illegal

sorry to spam i cant edit comments on workshop posts -.-

so after verifying files (all validated fine) and rearranging mods again, with yours first then vanilla removal...it seems to work? i have regions now.

but only the terran missile launcher looks different? the rest in the upgrade menu look the same far as i can tell, and again no thrusters appear to be 'underneath' the hull...

the rocket launchers DO look different, thrusters arent 'in' the hull though, at least on the starter terran ship

oh, and other modded factions dont show up either, it seems...also no factions to 'omit' either...so it seems your mod doesnt add anything for some reason and getting rid of vanilla breaks everything else? im not sure

well that's another issue....there's no factions spawning on the map, no territories or w/e...just floating stations from whatever faction i pick and nothing else, not even friendly ships.

that's probably fine! the mod has a few errors just because it overwrites vanilla blocks. so unless things are *visibly* wrong in the ships you see flying around, it's fine.
