Astroneer Glitchwalkers Locations & Resources guide
By kmorze
This guide is meant to help people playing the Glitchwalkers DLC to find important locations and resources. I made this guide because i was only able to find one english guide for Glitchwalkers that described such things, but it didn't cover everything i needed.

Boolean Fields Landing Zone
This biome is where you land when you reach planet Aeoluz.
  • Appereance: Bluish-purple soil with cubic formations.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Quartz and Laterite.
  • Dangerous flora: Lashleaf and rarely Thistlewhip.
  • Research: Research items can be found on the cubic formations and below plants, low byte yield.
  • This biome has no debris, caves, exo crates or exo dynamics research aids unlike most other surface biomes.
  • One Alpha Vault can be found on the surface of this biome.
Boolean Fields
  • In appearance and flora this biome is the same as the Boolean Fields Landing Zone.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Quartz, Graphite, Clay.
  • Unlike the Landing Zone, this biome has caves, exo crates, research aids, and debris.
Aggregate hills
  • Appearance: Frequent trees of varying sizes, green ground and lots of plants.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Sphalerite, Laterite.
  • Dangerous flora: Noxious Spewflower, Daggeroot.
  • Research: found mainly under small trees and plants.
  • I recommend not driving rovers without a drill in this biome, as most trees and multiple plants can get them stuck, they also block your view of caves which are common in this biome and difficult to escape.
Cyber Canyon_STOPCRASH(6)
  • Appearance: A deep canyon biome with large trees at the bottom as well as fossils, orange ground.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Graphite, Wolframite, Clay, Quartz.
  • Dangerous flora: Popcoral, Wheezeweed, Spiny Attactus.
  • Research: Found below certain plants.
  • This biome forms 2 rings on the surface of Aeoluz, one of them is straight and right next to a ring formed by the Delta Peaks biome. The other ring is wonky and gets interrupted by every Storm Peaks biome.
Alpha Storm Peaks
  • This Storm Peaks biome is the closest to the Landing Zone.
  • Appearance: Large cubic terrain formations of varying heights, many fungi-like plants and glitch textures, the Alpha Storm is within this biome.
  • Resources: Organic, Resin, Compound, Malachite, Laterite, Clay.
  • Dangerous flora: Wheezeweed, Spinelily.
  • Research: On rock formations.
Delta Storm Peaks
  • Appearance: Red-pink rock with some parts grey, with the blue Delta storm within it, also covered in large fungi-like plants and glitch textures.
  • Resources: Organic, Resin, Compound, Quartz, Titanite, Ammonia.
  • Dangerous flora: Daggeroot, Noxious Cataplant.
  • Research: Found under some plants, or on small rock formations.
  • This biome forms a ring on the surface of the planet next to the larger ring of the canyon biome.
Zeta Storm Peaks
  • Appearance: Rocky mountain biome with large fungi-like plants. At the center is the Zeta Storm, The rock is mostly red and grey colored, much of the biome and plantlife are covered by a glitch texture.
  • Resources: Organic, Resin, Compound, Laterite, Hematite, Lithium
  • Research: Exposed on some plants.
  • Dangerous flora: Spiny Attactus, Volatile Attactus, Wheezeweed.
  • The rock in this biome is very difficult to dig through without drill mods, i recommend using a rover with a drill to reach the Storm instead.
First Planet Layer
The full name of this biome is: Planet_Area_Cavern_Recovered(22)
  • This is the first inner layer of the planet, You will find Delta Vaults here.
  • Appearance: many large terrain pillars extend up to the surface layer, core pillars too, it is difficult to move on the ground of the biome due to the many large crystal formations covering it, the biome is mostly blue.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Wolframite, Hematite, Malachite.
  • Dangerous flora: None.
  • Research: Found on rock formations.
  • The terrain pillars allow easy access to get down from above to the bottom of this layer, but the core pillars are unknown.
Second Planet Layer
The full name of this biome is CaveTest016_TestB_Testing_WIPTEST_TESTT
  • Zeta Vaults can be found on the bottom of this biome.
  • Appearance: Mostly green with strange tall trees spread on the bottom of the biome.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Wolframite, Lithium, Ammonia.
  • Dangerous Flora: Popcoral.
  • Research: Can be found on certain plants
  • The core pillars through this biome can alter gravity allowing easy access to the bottom, but i prefer using a paver-equipped rover.
Planet Core Layer
The full name of this biome is: The Nucleus
  • Appearance: Purple and pink rocks scattered everywhere, the core of the planet being at the center of this biome.
  • Resources: Organic, Compound, Resin, Wolframite, Titanite, Ammonia, Graphite, Lithium, Astronium, and it is possible there is more.
  • Dangerous flora: Not present.
  • Research: None.
  • It is difficult to get to the center due to low gravity, i recommend walking down on the purple pillars.
