Before we start
This guide is my first serious guide on steam, if you notice mistakes or want me to explain something or add something i forgot, leave a comment, i will be sure to update ASAP.

Thanks!
1. Disclaimer
I expect you to have played this game for at least an hour to read this guide, some things you will figure out yourself real easy (reloading, racking the slide and how the overheating works, you're not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥)

This game is very weird and is gonna take some time to understand, i will talk about the enemies, weapons, levels, customisation and the energy drinks you can unlock. My first language is not English so some mistakes will be made in this guide.

2. Your base of operations
Your base of operation is a concrete open roof bunker under a highway ( i say this because you can hear cars above you )

There are few things of note in your base and those are:

1. The exit

The exit is small room hidden inside of a dark hallway containing nothing but a floating microwave full of eggs with scribbles on them. The microwave is your main mode of transport through the levels. When you interact with it, a black hole will open beneath your feet, a gold railing will circle around you, and the microwave will open and start releasing a bunch of rubber ducks (which seem to be infinite)

The microwave has a heat up timer that you need to fill up by standing in it's vicinity which is inside the golden railing that spawns.

Later on you will unlock a washing machine that makes the game start on a different round so you can give yourself more of a challenge

2. The shooting range

Not too useful honestly, but you can use the button to time your shooting reactions. The button starts a timer and a beep that tells you when to shoot, i don't use this.

3. The weapon monitors

This is where you buy upgrades for your weapons, but you have to earn them in-game from mini boss enemies, which i will talk about later. You select the weapon you want to buy an upgrade for on the first monitor, the type of upgrade on the second monitor, and finally the upgrade on the last monitor.

These include:
  • Different types of ammo
  • Scopes
  • Lasers and flashlights
  • Suppressors and muzzle brakes
  • Magazines

But to do that you need to get those upgrades first, we will talk about that when we talk about the enemies.

4. The shooting mannequins

You shoot them, they tell you how much damage you did. Simple, not too usefull, you will be shooting enemies until they fall, you're not gonna be carrying a calculator into a firefight

5. The psychiatry room
This is where you upgrade your character and gather quests and rewards

The nurse at the counter will always offer 3 quests (which don't reset when you die in-mission, meaning you can complete half of a mission, die, and it won't reset)

Quests give different rewards but the main are:

  • Currency
  • Keys for locked doors on the levels
  • Unlocks for energy drinks that boost your stats

The room also has the vending machine for the drinks mentioned above and a computer

The drinks give you stat boosts and the computer unlocks new weapons for you after finishing quests.

The vending machine looks like this

And the drinks upgrade the following:

3. The enemies
They come in a couple of variants and colours:

  • Red

  • Yellow

  • Green
These are your standard enemies, every time the round counter in your left bottom corner goes up, the enemies become stronger, they get better armour and weapons, but they also become more aggressive.

Their masks

However there are special enemies as well.

  • KKK guys - These guys give you weapon upgrades, they don't get stronger as the rounds go on. The always use suppressed weapons. These guys spawn at round 3 and continue spawning on.

    His mask

  • The fat head blue guys - These guys will spawn around round 3 as well, but these drop resources, they will chase you down with a knife, have a lot of health and can be best taken down with 12 gauge buckshot, they are very annoying.

    His mask

  • The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ commodore 64 PC - Special enemy that appears when you complete the first disk quest on the office map. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass computer will spawn in almost every room and float, when it floats it gives you epilepsy and schizophrenia. Killing it gives you resources and VHS tapes

  • Black people - i don't know what these are, but they activate after taking the disk quest item in the sewers, they use shotguns and use the dark for their advantage, they give you their black masks for a quest.

    Their mask logo
  • white mannequins - I've never seen these, but they should attack you in the apartments level when you collect the disk quest item. (I escaped before seeing them)

  • El Diablo - Wears a suit and a devil mask, uses a shotgun with dragon breath rounds.

The enemies make weird bubbling and gurgling sounds so you can know if they are close, they use the same weapons as you, but later on get better and better weaponry

These guys mean business (literally, they wear business suits)
4. Weapons
You get 4 weapons during the game, you unlock them via disk quest items you will get.

The weapons include:

  • A weird mix of a Glock 19 and the FN 57 Pistol chambered in 9*19mm

  • A standard AR15

  • The M1014 shotgun

  • A remington Model 700 sniper rifle

They are all good weapons, you use what you like, however you can only carry one rifle/shotgun and the pistol, you can't mix and match them.

I prefer the shotgun though.

All weapons can jam and heat up, the more garbage you add on your rifle/pistol/shotgun, the bigger the chance your rifle jams.
You fix the jam by racking the slide or bolt.

IMPORTANT

DO NOT USE AP AMMO OR SLUGS, USE HP - HOLLOW POINT AMMUNITION
ARMOUR PIERCING AMMO DOES NO DAMAGE, IT IS BAD AS OF 27.06.2025
5. Quests
There is already a good guide on important quests and i will link it here, go and give the creator some love!

https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3377651094
6. Levels
There are currently no 3D or 2D maps of the levels and i am not smart enough to create one, if someone makes one i will contact them to use it in this guide.

There currently 3 main levels in HOLE, and 3 secret levels i will talk about later not to spoil you anything

These 3 main levels are:

  • The office - A really big office set in corporate America, the sound of fluorescent lights slowly drives you insane, well at least before the gunshots do...

  • The drainage system - Creepy system of sewers, garbage and rooms that make no sense, who knows what gets thrown in here, better not find out...

  • Apartments - A sprawling complex of apartmens, but all of them are empty, why? You don't have to think as a rifle shot rings 2 inches from your face...
7. Ending
If you continue playing and unlock everything you should notice there is a new door open in your base next to the nurse.

Entering the room you will notice masks of the enemies you fought, items you collected and finally the computer you can interact with.

Interacting with the computer you can enter 3 demo levels which were scrapped before the release of the game:

The 3 demo levels are:

  • The beach - A devastated beach in some sort of industrial part of a city

  • Forest museum - A museum in a forest, really unfinished, nothing of note

  • The backstreet - A drug dealing part of town, not textured, but has really good potential as a map

The shooting dummies give you a pretty good idea of what the guns are good for without the risk, they also teach you that a kick will basically always stagger your opponent, including bosses it seems, blueberries can be kicked down and bullied to death with relative ease.

I heard from another poster exactly that. So I guess that's it then. Oh well, it was a fun ride for a few bucks. Thanks for the response.

As far as i know that door doesn't lead to anywhere and the dev abandoned the game a while ago

Does the door to the right of the PC ever open? I'm talking about the computer that you feed collected discs into to unlock new weapons. To the right of it, there's a locked door. It's the only thing left in home base that I haven't been able to access.

I don't think that room is unlock-able yet or i haven't done that yet

ciao, la porta a destra nella stanza dei powe up e della segretaria con le missioni come si sblocca? intendo quella a destra del computer nel quale inserire i floppy disk.
