A Portal Kill occurs when:
- An enemy passes through a portal you placed, and
- They die after exiting on the other side (this can happen by falling off the map, taking damage).

The key is that they must go through your portal before dying. Kills before entry or unrelated to the portal don’t count.

The most reliable method:

1. Place an entry portal in a common combat or objective area.
2. Link it to an exit portal facing the edge of the map.
3. When an enemy goes through, they’ll fall and die, scoring you a portal kill.

This is simple, fast, and works well in public matches.

Hot Zone: Enemies focus on objectives and tend to move through portals without caution.
- Great opportunity to place traps where they’ll be distracted and less aware.

Porta-Portal (Aeros):
- Use this ability to quickly set up portals on the move. Essential for reactive traps and repositioning under pressure.

Sandstorm Grenade (from Sabrask teammate):
- Coordinate with a teammate who uses Sand Grenades to obscure your portal. This makes it invisible to enemies, drastically increasing the chance they’ll walk through without hesitation, especially effective near objectives or while retreating.
