Welcome to Legacy of the Gods!

Legacy of the Gods is a passion project born from a deep appreciation for a mod that has meant a great deal to me over the years. The original mod, Gods, was created by JordanDoes and released on August 20, 2015. From the start, it captured my imagination with its originality and scope. I want to give full credit for their creative vision and the foundation they built.
Over time, the mod evolved through the efforts of others in the community. While I respect and value the work that’s been done, I felt that some changes drifted from the core spirit that first inspired me. Legacy of the Gods is my attempt to refresh the original, bringing it up to speed technically while also adding my own spin.
Sincere thanks to Xenotia, SeamusFD, Mark Foxanard, and everyone who has contributed to this mod over the years. This is my way of honoring that legacy and paying it forward.

Main Features:
• Introduces the God and Fallen God traits. Gods gain Good Angels, and Evil Gods gain Dark Angels, each with powerful upgrades exclusive to god-tier characters.
• Adds 11 divine traits: God, Fallen God, Young God (Light), Young God (Dark) , Demi-God, Blood of Gods, Archangel, Dark Archangel, Angel, Dark Angel, and Angel Blood.
• Gods are immortal and immune to sickness, but they are not invincible. They can still be killed in duels by other gods or by exceptional mortals.
• Gods and Evil Gods have access to the "Divine Conception" decision, allowing them to sire children with mortal women. These offspring become powerful Demi-Gods, carrying a divine bloodline that passes on permanently, so choose your dynastic alliances wisely.
• As a God or Evil God, you can summon an Angel or Dark Angel via self Character Interaction. They will join your court with unique traits and can command your angelic units in battle against rival deities.
• Adds two new religions. Eternal Light and Eternal Dark. Each customizable through event series, with selectable tenets and a unique religious empire title.

You don't need to use Ruler Designer to become a God!
At age 16, your character may begin to experience strange dreams. A mysterious Seer will arrive and offer to train you in the divine path, or you may cast him out. The choice is yours.

Compatibility Issues:
• Changes have been made to allow Spawned Angels who are age 0 to serve on the Council. This likely prevents compatibility with any mod that alters the 00_council_positions file.

Legacy of the Gods is my first published mod. If you enjoy it, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Especially suggestions on how to improve the balance and gameplay experience.
Please keep in mind: this mod is intentionally unbalanced in favor of the player. Gods are meant to be stronger than mortals by design. That said, I’m open to tuning it to better fit different play styles and preferences.

Plans for the future:
- Unique Model Accessories for Gods (Like the Angels). These will be Optional and in the Barbershop.
- Multiple Chain Event Series for both Gods and Angels and.....well spoilers.
- Incorporate an optional cost-base system for Diving powers.
- Divine Court Positions.
- Greek Gods at some point with assignable roles (God of War, Goddess of Love, etc) to include associated Events.
