Have you considered teaming up with @SkyShock? He already did the Nicean Generals submod but ultimately started with a large plan to tackle Epirus and Treb—essentially part of the same culture you’re updating for the same reasons. Since the vanilla 1212 devs sidelined the Byzantine faction models due to them not lasting historically, but realistically if they DID survive and thrive they would have their own culturally appropriate attire which the 1212 devs probably will never ever attempt since there are no historical attire examples of what you're looking to make. Why not pool your efforts? SkyShock’s submod work brings realistic, culturally appropriate attire to those factions, a collab would be so awesome to see.
