Crop rotation is real in this game and it's important to make sure you're matching the proper crop type to soil type to achieve the highest yield you can. Crop and soil type match ups have since changed in the new Shifting Gears update as well.

There are three soil types in the game, each influencing crop performance based on nutrient compatibility:

• Nitrogenic
  
• Phosphoric
  
• Potassic

Crops are categorized by their nutrient needs:
* Matching same type crop to same type soil yields a regular yield (1x crop per plant).
* A high yield results in 2x crop (possibly more with cozy farm bonus)

After unlocking Ulf and the Seed Splicer, you can craft spliced crop seeds. These seeds will act the same as their normal crop counterparts, however, growing into mutated crops instead. Meaning, matching the proper soil yields a high yield of mutated crops and the opposite soil will yield a regular high yield harvest.

Animals roam around in sections across the map, here I'll be more or less just listing the animals, where to find them, and the type of fodder they prefer. In order to get certain drops like feathers and crystal shards, and amber fragments you need to hatch them (see eggs section). I've noticed animals in the wild dig up the local mineral based on your location, most commonly copper in Outset Grasslands but I've gotten Nickel near deposits.

Blue gives 10% chance of double animals.

No need to waste copper on repair kits just recycle then craft the part again

A common issue I've been hearing is that people cant get a certain plant to spawn. If you pass the night in whatever region you're having the issue with the game should sort itself out.
