Introduction
Introduction? You don't need an intro to the guide!

I believe in you! Let's not waste time! Onto the strategery!!!
How to Handle Turns
Don't Attack in a Turn - There's no point. In a turn, you and enemy bikers will always be leaning into the turn. Either the hitbox while leaning is very small, or it's non-existent. So, don't. Worst case scenario, you kick at the cost of being able to steer and end up hitting a wall for INSTANT DEATH. INSTANT DEATH is not what you want. You don't want to play any of these bike stages more than once.

See below for leaning biker that cannot be hit.

Don't Attack Going into a Turn - Again, you may kick at the cost of being able to steer and end up hitting a wall for INSTANT DEATH.

See below for reckless kicking heading into a turn. Don't do it!

Slow Down - Safety first! Slow down for all turns. Slow down going into a turn. Slow down while in a turn. You may drift towards the wall in a turn. Walls are INSTANT DEATH! Stay slow and the drift will be manageable. Unless, you're kicking like this guide told you not to.

Now, you may be thinking that 'going slow will make the bike stages long and tedious. So, why go slow when I can be fast and furious?' Trust me, it really doesn't seem to impact the level length, and even if it did, you'll still get through them quicker because you won't be dying and restarting the levels. Yay!

In summary, don't attack in a turn, or going into a turn, and slow down.
How to Attack
Only Attack In a Straightaway - Turns are not your friend! Turns are a setup for INSTANT DEATH. Not even when the road is still straight and is heading into a turn. No exceptions.

Slow Down and Then Spam Attacks - It makes it easier to aim your attack when you slow down, harder for the enemy to get the jump on you and attack first, and harder to bump into the enemy. You may accelerate just enough to get lined up for an attack on an enemy who is just ahead of you (See below screenshot).

Slow, and spammy, this enemy is about to get kicked!

In summary, stick to straightaways, slow down, spam attacks.
Don't Drive Too Close
Don't Drive Too Close to the Wall - It's INSTANT DEATH.

Don't Drive Too Close to Enemies - If you get too close, you will bump motorcycles and, regardless of how you think that sounds, it won't be pleasurable. When motorcycles collide, you don't necessarily crash, but two things happen.

  • You get bumped - This moves your position on the road. It's possible you will move into a wall and crash for INSTANT DEATH.
  • You take damage - If you're really intent on getting and staying close to an enemy biker, you may take repeated bumps that will chip away at your health and make you more susceptible to damage from attacks, or you may lose all of your health from just bumps.

If you struggle to avoid getting too close to the wall, or too close to enemies when you go in to attack, it's probably because you're not slowing down. Slow down :D

In summary, wall not friend. Bumping not good.
When to Accelerate
In a Straightaway With No Enemies - When it's an open road with no turns on the horizon, get that baby into the red!!!

You're Already Driving Slow and Need to Line up an Attack - Just a little tap, tappy, or two on the acceleration. Nothing more.

In summary, only in straightaways and when fine tuning an attack while driving slow.
