Today you can choose from multiple chapters including Imperial Fists and Salamanders! Oh boy, what an update they have done.
I'm sure this will help me in my future playthroughs. Currently trying to finish the Ultramarine campaign... Made it most the way through, wondering why it wasn't much of a challenge - before realizing that I'd put difficulty on easy mode to familiarize myself with the game again in the first mission and forgot to switch. 😂 Shame you can't change difficulty on the fly. Oh well.
Time to finish my old Dark Angels campaign save on Hard mode now.
Cheers! And Thank you for this time and effort involved in this well crafted write up.
I wanted to mention that for those who wants to slash throw genestelers, Imperial Fist chapter (and Crimson Fist) are the best in melee because of their better survability chapter skill. If maxed in melee skill and thoughness and equiped with hammer and shield, they can survive/kill about 40 genestealer (except broodlord that you have to flank in order to take no risks).
I tested it it's rather cool, but can't be played without regular saves before genestealer turn (unless you like farming and loosing experienced men in the most risky squad gameplay).
