🎯 What Is Rainbow Six Siege?

Rainbow Six Siege is a 5v5 tactical FPS where attackers and defenders face off in short, intense rounds. It's all about strategy, gadgets, map knowledge, and communication—not just shooting.
🧠 Core Concepts
🧍‍♂️ 1. Know Your Role

There are two sides:

Attackers: Breach buildings, plant defusers, rescue hostages.

Defenders: Fortify the objective, use traps, deny entry.

Each operator has a unique gadget that defines their playstyle. Learn a few on each side and stick with them at first.
🔧 2. Master the Basics
🗺️ Map Knowledge Is Power

Learn camera locations, common breach points, and site layouts.

Use Training Grounds (formerly Terrorist Hunt) to explore maps solo.

🎧 Sound Is Everything

Wear headphones. You can hear footsteps, reinforcements, and gadget usage.

Sound cues often give away enemy positions before you see them.

🛠️ Use Your Gadgets

Don’t ignore your gadgets—they're more powerful than you think.

Drones (Attackers) can scout enemies and traps.

Barbed wire, cameras, and traps (Defenders) give crucial intel and slow attackers.

🔫 3. Choose Beginner-Friendly Operators
🟦 Attackers:

Sledge – Breaching with a hammer, simple and effective.

Thermite – Opens reinforced walls, very useful.

Ash – Fast and has a ranged breaching tool.

🟥 Defenders:

Rook – Drops armor for the whole team.

Mute – Blocks drones and breaching gadgets.

Jäger – Destroys incoming grenades.

🗣️ 4. Communication Wins Games

Ping system (Yellow, Red, and Contextual pings) is essential—even without a mic.

Call out enemy positions, drone info, and when you're downed.

Don’t spam mic or argue—Siege is a team game.

🛡️ 5. Learn to Defend Smart

Reinforce key walls — especially those facing outside or between bomb sites.

Use rotate holes to connect rooms (usually made with a shotgun).

Place gadgets early — you won’t have time once the round starts.

💥 6. Attacking Tips

Use your drones in the prep phase to spot defenders and gadgets.

Don’t rush. Clear rooms slowly and watch corners.

Coordinate breaches with teammates (e.g., one goes in while another covers).

🔄 7. Always Learn and Adapt

Watch killcams to understand how you died.

Don’t tilt—every death teaches you something.

Watch pro players or streamers to learn strategies.

🧩 Extra Tips

Sensitivity: Find a mouse/controller sensitivity that works for you.

Crosshair Placement: Keep your aim at head height.

Check corners: Every room can hide an enemy.

Be unpredictable: Don’t always defend or attack the same way.

✅ Final Words

Rainbow Six Siege is tough but rewarding. Stick with it, play smart, and communicate. Every round is a puzzle, and teamwork is the solution.
