Finally, some good damn fish...
Finally, some good damn fish...
Requirements
Only a true fisherman can fish ALL the best fish!
Depending on your play style, this will be last achievement.
To gain this achievement, you need to get a 5 start fish of every single one. There is total of 60 of them, and what makes this a bit harder, is that there is no clear indicator which is the fish you want. You just have to get lucky, sometimes you can get 5 start right from the start, and sometimes its just not there. Here is what i know and few hints

- What you want is the highest lvl of fish, higher the lvl , better the fish, and also harder to pull out.
- Some fishes like Needlefish and Catfish don't need bait to be captured, luckily they don't consume bait if they bite to it. Thank you xWinG 驫麤 for pointing this out.
- If fish is wrong lvl, fish it out anyway, because you are going to need the money for everything else.
- Fish don't despawn. Doesn't matter if you let it go, fail or leave area, fish lvl will stay the same until you catch it.

@Valyoyo Thanks for the info. I Still think weight have nothing to do with stars, as i only get 5 start by getting the highest lvl fish.
DLC rods do not count for achievement, that is pretty much confirmed and it would not really make sense to lock main game achievements away behind a DLC.

After 100% the game without the DLC I have some info to finish this guide:
-- There is a Fishing Rod next to final boss room just outside on top-right where you need to first drill and then magnet it, the rod is called Ex-Garlibur. After this rod you get both the So many sticks! and the Well Equipped .
-- The star system of fishes is by the weight, even if generally you can also guess by the level. I had a fish range lvl 24-29 and after a lvl 28 it gave me 5 star. I guess it went past the 5 star threshold by 0.1 while also keeping the 4 star level.
--- The total number of equipment without DLC for achievements is: 19 Fishing Rods, 16 Hats, 12 Rings, 14 necklaces
Since I don't have the DLC, I don't know if it counts towards the achievements, this can be easily done by somebody with DLC but no achievements. If they got the So many sticks! without getting the rod next to final boss room, then they do count.

Is Baelin-Sensi bugged for anyone else? I have every other achievement (including Finally, some good damn fish...) but for some reason I haven't unlocked Baelin-Sensi.

When I speak to the Statue of Thidon all the skills are unlocked, what am I missing?
Stan  [author] 13 Jul @ 8:52pm
Have You done mayors quests?
CallMeIshmael7589 13 Jul @ 2:10pm
I have bought and discovered every piece of equipment, but I haven't been able to achieve the, "Well Equipped," title. Not sure what I could be missing. I have drilled all that can be drilled, bought all that can be bought, sought out all the treasures... Anyone have insight on this? Plz & thnx.

Thank you so much. I was missing the High Sorcerer's Rod and the Darkwood Jewel. I never went back and checked that cave after getting current immunity. You're the only guide I could find that actually helped.
Brawler59 12 Jun @ 5:25pm
Was missing the High Sorcerers Rod so thanks for that.

Beravin. Its just my way to see things. The way i see it, lvl 3 is max, not 4. Can we fix it occurs when all building have been upgrade to lvl 2., and Honeywood 2.0 after reaching max, which is lvl 3.
Controlldier 6 Jun @ 11:55pm
I just wanna say that for the "Finally, some good damn fish..." there actually IS a clear indicator to which fish you need to get 5 stars for. If you go to the statue of Thidon it will tell you the highest star level and weight of all the fish you've caught. You can then fish selectively for only the ones not already with 5 stars.
Beravin 6 Jun @ 5:23pm
Very helpful guide. I appreciate it. That said, the achievement "Can We Fix It" occurs when you upgrade every building to level 3, not level 2 :P
