COOKING BASICS
To cook, take a raw food item (Example: Raw meat, Carrots, Corn, Cactus, Human bodies) and place them in a campfire, and click "COOK SOMETHING"

If the item is valid to be cooked, you'll cook it and get a yummy snack that restores health and hunger

HOW TO COOK BETTER MEALS
If you've played the game for a while, you've probably noticed that you pretty much always end up with Veggies and Barbecue.
They're fine, good and reliable healing, but on the higher difficulty, I've found keeping yourself satiated isn't as easy with just these.

To cook better meals you're gonna need one thing: Water

Find some water, or alternatively boil some booze, and cook it along side some vegetables for vegetable soup. Add raw meat into the mix and you can get different meals depending on the veggie. (Meaty stew, pork porridge, ect)

RECIPES (wip)
This is a Work in progress list of in game recipes I've found through experimenting, which I will update when I can.

When cooked together:
  • Any Vegetable: Veggies
  • Any Meat: Barbecue
  • Flower: Red Flower Roll
  • Booze: Water
  • Booze + Corn: Giz-something or other*
  • Water + Any Vegetable: Vegetable soup
  • Water + Oats: Oatmeal
  • Water + Carrot** + Meat: Meaty Stew
  • Water + Corn + Meat: Pork Porridge
  • Water + Coffee beans: Coffee
  • more to come

* I forgot the name of this for now
**Currently unsure if its just carrots or any veggies other than corn will make meaty stew
