1. Settings to maximize turning power (NOT TIDE TURNER)
If you ever wonder how demoknight pro's have a lot of turning power without tide turner, I shall explain.
Basically most pro's with good computers have good turning power like which requires around 600 FPS. Ouch. (More FPS, More turn)
If you don't have a good computer, go to console, type "fps_limit 60" and "m_filter 1"
I don't really know what it does but, it makes turning a lot easier. but if you use a 240 Hz monitor it'll feel horrible going back down to 60 FPS.
After you do that, type "net_graph 1" OR "net_graph 2" into the console, depending how much info you want. Put "net_graph 0" to turn it off.
net graph 1 is simple and practically says it straight, net_graph 2, well it looks like a weird graph, if i'm right.
2. Using weapons
To maximize mannpower, you will need to select weapons.
What most people use is Ali Ba Ba's Wee Booties or The Bootlegger, Splendid Screen, and the Half-Zatoichi.
The bootlegger and splendid screen both add passive buffs which help you a lot in the game.
If you prefer something else that is fine.
If you like to trimp easier, use the tide turner.
With the splendid screen you have to time your hit right to gain a critical hit with your sword. (Basic Hit 65 Critical hit 195) with a critical hit with a sword you can one-hit most classes in the game.
the reason people use Half-Zatoichi is because it can one-hit another person with the same sword, and if you get a kill with it, you get 100 health, including with the person also using the same sword as you.
If you're looking for a Hit n' Run, i'd recommend using the Persian Persuader because it's hits fuel the charge meter.
3. Trimping (tide turner or advantage of 1.)
Trimping is a cool movement technique unique to Demoknight when using the Chargin' Targe, Splendid Screen, or Tide Turner. It lets you convert your charging speed into airborne momentum for fast, stylish jumps — perfect for map mobility or surprise attacks.
you'd need a Chargin’ Targe, Splendid Screen, or Tide Turner
Using shields like Chargin' Targe and splendid screen make it challenging unless you used my steps in 1.
You'd a map with decent slopes/ramps like upward, harvest.
first look at the ramp you've chosen, run towards it while charging.
while in mid-air, turn or look in the direction you want to launch.
You’ll fly through the air with boosted speed — that’s a trimp!
4. Training/Practicing
This is going to be short
If you need to learn or train on trimping, i'd start a private server.
If you want to learn trimping generally as in not on just one map, go to the steam workshop, and search "trimp_hops" made by the popular youtuber, Solar Light.
5. Range
Depending Trimping range is how far and high you travel when you jump at the end of a charge. It depends on:

Your speed during the charge, The angle and height of the slope or ramp you launch from, The timing of your jump, The direction you're looking when you jump

Factors That Affect Trimping Range

Tide Turner gives you more turning and aiming ability, which lets you better redirect your launch angle mid-air.
Chargin' Targe and Splendid Screen have the same trimping stats different combat stats to be clear

Ramp Angle/Surface Slope
Steep downward slopes let you go farther and faster on trimps.
Gentle slopes lets you have shorter trimp distance.
You can even trimp off stairs, hills, or sloped props if timed right.

6. Aiming where to land
In this section of the guide you'll learn how to land.
Once in the air, find your target before you land.
Once you've found your target, try launching your self in that direction, it it most likely you'll have to trimp to it from the side because of the need to turn being often. (except DeGroot keep on that one rock.)
Once you're close enough to it, end your charge near or above your target. If you know how to strafe like soldier think think about the Market Gardener.

This has been a week worth of work, and I want to say thank you for reading my guide on trimping.
This has been majorly been inspired by the work of Solar Light.
So, I'd want you to go check out his channel on youtube, and he can teach you more from his videos about weapons and more.
This project has been really fun and hard to make. Thank You.
