bind mwheelup _jump
bind mwheeldown _jump
bind space _jump

Then:

Sprint forward while scrolling the mousewheel to enter a psuedo-bhop with the super jump.

This super jump duration does not last long, after which Doomguy will enter a somewhat real bhop state, where at this point, you can just hold shift again to initiate the super jump hop.

This can be useful both in combat and to quickly navigate levels.
