Tips & Tricks
* Before leaving the apartment for the first time, play both the racing and jumping game to get exp and two skills, do not play the 3rd game as it will turn night.

* Spend all change on Onion-O's, they heal more than the other items, and remove hunger.

* Return home once your danger bar fills up to maximize exp, save and don't sleep if possible, avoid sleeping unless you're tired, or out of health recovery options (or going for the achievement).

* Sleeping recovers health, resets both the 2nd floor shop, and ground level shop, check them daily as supplies change.

* Always barter the most expensive item in the shop you want if possible, you can barter several times on occasion. no disadvantage.

* If you hear a knock always answer, if you're unable to buy anything from a npc, kill them, as of right now they will always come back, might as well get some loot, exp and money. They will run after about 2/3 turns so be quick.

* Always buy the pizza from the pizza delivery guy, very good return on value.

* Complete each video game once for maximum non-combat exp and a skill.

* Never sleep if there's any day time left, play games until it turns night if you must.

* Always add an ingredient to your bread recipes, to maximize recovery as all bread recipes are taken with you.

* Make Sam wear the most protective gear, after a certain amount of armor you no longer take damage from certain enemies. Use the taunting ability.

* Someone in your party should be a designated "healer", Sam can be as he's holding aggro.

* Learn enemies weakness type, can be a game changer in difficulty spikes such as the landlords area (Slashing).

* Guns are generally the best weapons as they can attack multiple times and hit hard, save them for harder fights.

* Have a designated "gun npc" that wears all basaltic related gear to maximize the guns effectiveness.

* There is no disadvantage for killing people story wise, no bad ending, keep this in mind and weigh the pros and cons, I would kill the Floor 2 merchant when nearing the 15th day, or if he's fully stocked, or kill a npc once it no longer serves a purpose, like the cassette tape guy, or the tick, might as well get some extra exp.

* Frederic quest line has multiple endings, typically I would leave this for much later depending on if you want to duplicate an item or not, however, use the Bright Fred daily for some free party heals.

* Gatling Gun is a noob trap, ammo is very expensive and rare, very strong, but very limited uses.

* Who knocks on your door is rolled at the start of the game, you can keep resetting the game until you get a good event, such as a item left at the door (fireaxe / sledgehammer) or a follower.

All npcs can return, I killed the gamer 2/3 times and he still comes back lol, all events are constant

That's unfortunate :(
I've only met The Gamer once and I didn't have money back then.

This would be at the start of the game, not a reload

"Who knocks on your door is rolled at the start of the game, you can keep resetting the game until you get a good event" You mean when I start a new save or when I boot the game? Asking just to know if I can get the Completionist achievement.
