Speedrun Strats
To get Speedrun Strats, you don't have to complete the entire game without saving, all you need to do is reach the ending without saving. This means you can use passwords to skip rooms and still get the achievement, so long as you don't save. For reference, the passwords are:
PUMPKIN: Skip to Room 250
CHEESE: Skip to Room 500
CAKE: Skip to Room 750
Near-Death Experience
It is very easy to get Near-Death Experience when going for the good ending in The Doll House.
When entering the final chase sequence to close the hell portal, every specimen you can choose will do 15 damage per hit. This means if you enter with a full health bar and intentionally take 6 hits, it will drain you to 10 HP, enough to trigger the achievement once you finish the chase. Because this is The Doll House, your health will not naturally regenerate, meaning you are in no rush once you have the minimum health amount.

as long as you are in the main menu, you can press the settings button and then the 'password' button in the outside corner of the red box, which you can then use the on screen keyboard to enter it.
according to the wiki a rival mode is the only [ending] achievement which cannot be obtained by using passwords. a rival mode cannot be completed at the same time as speedrun strats
doubt this helps anyone but it helped me and wasnt in the guide.
also yes i had to google this. am i dumb? maybe! :3
