What makes a Good Pattern?

For the M4A1-S | Glitched Paint, the pattern seed affects how intensely the neon distortion covers the weapon. Here are some things players look for:

Extreme Neon Saturation: Some patterns explode with electric blue, neon pink, and jagged streaks of green, completely overwhelming the rifle with digital energy.

Chaotic Fragmentation: Other variants intensify the glitch effect, with sharp distortions and pixelated color disruptions, creating an aggressively fractured aesthetic.

Sorting Methodology

Sorting Automation:

1. Images Convert to Grayscale
If sorting by black, white, or gray, the image is converted to grayscale.
The script used measures the average brightness (from 0 = black to 100 = white).

2. Sort Images by Intensity
The script organizes images from least to most dominant in the selected color.

3. Edge Cases
Two images might have nearly identical average brightness, yet their pixel distribution and contrast could make them appear quite different. The sorting mechanism captures these subtle shifts which may not be obvious to human eye.

Disclaimer:
This script calculates the average color across the entire one side of the skin rather than focusing on specific areas. Preferences to areas such as the top side of gloves, the player-facing side of the weapon, and the resting animation of knives influence the overall outcome of the color calculation.
