Intro?
So? You woke up this morning and hopped on your favourite twitching corpse of a game and saw a new useless warbond coming out? Probably thought to yourself, “Hey, that's a new no-good armor? Great Scott! Ima need some creds for that!” — right?
Well, look no further! I will most certainly help you with that.
Setting yourself up
Let's get down to business now.
In terms of stratagems grab a jetpack, a car and a grenade launcher just in case.
Take stamina booster or stims.

Now drop in and start farming!
Easy, right? Oh, blast it! I forgot to tell you which planet to ransack!
Let's correct that...
The ultimate planet list
Alrighty then, you must be wondering what are the best planets for farming SC's, yes?
Here's the list:
Desert
End of list.
Yep, that's it. Desert. Not the acid desert though. Why desert? Simply because it's a stash house full of credits. The most beautiful, super awesome, sexy stash house!
Jokes aside, it is the most consistent biome for farming, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The map conditions look something like that:
And the almost perfect layout of the map looks like this:
BUT WHAT IN LIBERTY'S NAME AM I SUPPOSED TO DO IF THERE'S NO DESERT PLANET?
Relax, in the case of Democracy not yet reaching the deserted planets marked for pillaging liberation there are a few substitutes. Arctic planets and barren moons can sometimes yield a good loot too! So farm them for a while.
Duct Tape Solutions, Dark Magic and Questionable Life Choices...
What's a guide without some tips? Exactly! Nothing!
So, let me impart some wisdom to your Democracy-filled noggin.
Once you've finally touched down on the planet for the first time you should just try and farm to the best of your abilities. We're not in a hurry, forget about that min/maxing BS everybody else writes around here. We are farming for our soul, not to try and outrun some imaginary clock, right?
Once you think you're done with this mission, just exit to your ship, no need to extract - credits and medals are instantly added to your balance once you pick them up. Cool, don't you think?
Now that we've done our first drop on the desired planet, let's talk about choosing the right mission to farm on. I should also tell you that you're only farming on 1-2 diffs, but you already knew that, didn't you? And that most of the POI's are scattered in a circular pattern accross the map's edges, rarely the center. Bet you knew that too, you absolute beauty of a man.
What operations you shoud consider playing to potentially maximize your loot:
  • Terminate Illegal Broadcast
  • Upload Escape Pod Data
  • Spread Democracy (Though it's good for diff 1, there's a chance there'd be two flags on diff 2.)
What to look out for
Make sure not to lose your breath on elimination, destruction of supply bases and everything else that basically takes the place of POI's and absolutely destroys your profits. We're here to get ourselves some brand new warbond, remember?
How to properly plunder liberate alien property
Now, want to know why I told you not to bother too much with your first drop? Some "gamers" will tell ya to watch out for pillars of light from crashed pods and buildings when you're farming, but I'm not going to tell you that. Scratch all of that, I'm about to give you the ultimate tool to scan for POI's around the map... The map itself. Or the minimap, to be precise. You see, after you abruptly leave your first game of the day you suddenly develop psychic abilities and now can find POI's just by hovering over your minimap.
Looks something like that:

Notice how I'm standing on one side of the map but can essentially check every single pixel of the minimap for POI's? That's your best help if you're farming solo. If you're farming with a team you don't need your minimap at all beyond the first 10 seconds after the drop.
One last thing...
There's one entity... It's presence can be felt on every single planet, every single operation... An entity that I hate with the whole essence of my soul... The DirtBox. Or a simple cache, whatever, you're no fun. Avoid it at all costs, because it'll simply waste your time (I mean, I know we're farming for our soul and whatnot, but this thing is driving me nuts) and make you as dense and vexed as I am every single time I stumble upon it by mistake. Though I'm usually dense most of the day, not just because of that thing.

REMEMBER HOW IT LOOKS LIKE AND DON'T YOU EVER FORGET!

Few final words to cheer you up
If you're just starting on your journey to mastering SC's farming just keep in mind that you'll get better and better with each session. You'll start memorizing every outline of every POI and after some time you'll be cracking them containers and bunkers with brutal efficiency! No need to listen to salty idiots who farm endlessly for days on end and essentially forget they're a living person, not a fearless, brainless soldier of the Democracy. Always host your missions and you'll be dandy. Someone questions your coherence? Kick them mercilessly! Sounds good? I think so too. If you are playing with your friends and start seeing only the worst objective types simply make your friend a leader of the party - they'll have a whole new set of missions! Also, try switching planets for a few drops if you feel like farm is drying out.
Epilogue? Post Scriptum? I honestly couldn't care less at this point
Thanks for shifting through my yapping! You're a true soldier of Liberty!
Hope it was at least somewhat informative and helpful to some of you. I personally think it's a very light reading, not littered with useless graphs, percentages and all that stuff "professionals" usually toss in their guides.
Take care of yourself, do your chores, and remember—Liberty will always guide you. G'day.
Post Scriptum of a Post Scriptum sitting in an Epilogue chair sipping on a bottled Afterword?
Apparently, this doin’ numbers — which I’ve never even anticipated. So, I would like to thank y’all wonderful people for your rewards, ratings, and comments. It’s always such a delightful surprise to me how you can post something on the net and actually get positive vibes from people. You all are so cute I could kiss ya. I appreciate that you can appreciate some light-hearted, probably idiotic piece of text and actually reward me for writing it. Thank you for helping me keep my faith in humanity marginally intact.

True, you can just hover over them. But the mapping being bigger would mean more chances for POI spawns, right?

Hey, diver, I usually don't farm Level 3 due to side objectives taking place of POI's, even if the map is wider it gets mitigated by the fact that there are side objectives. Also, I've given everybody a cool ass alternative to the Lidar here in guide.:SmileAgr:

Hey, author, I usually farm Level 3 due to it being wider and not having Rare Samples to gunk up the loot pool. It is pretty good for farming, and you have a better chance of getting a Lidar to see the loot due to having 2 side objectives.

"You see, after you abruptly leave your first game of the day you suddenly develop psychic abilities and now can find POI's just by hovering over your minimap."
Yep... Totally missed that second mission of the day stuff. Bummer. :jfrown:

A few notes,
Difficulty 2 is the best option since it spawns regular sized maps without annoying enemies.
If you can, get some other people (the more the better), and since super credits are added to your account regardless of mission completion you can just abandon the mission with squad assuming you are the squad leader.
Final note, if you or any member of your team, completes the mission, it will lock you out of the abandon button, so be sure that you don't do that.
Final final note, bots are the better option since their outposts take up less space.
Final final final note, you can check inside of bunkers by diving into the door and going into first person mode.
Alas, this stuff is very specific and won't save you that much time. Hope I helped. Other than that this guy got a lot of things right, especially the fact that you can check mission for POI's (what he did miss about that was that you have to be on your second mission of the day or it won't work),
Danke.

ackshually, lvl 3 missions already spawn bumkers but not yet rare samples

Alas! Must thou smite me so with thy lexical precision? Have mercy, o wise one!
If you haven't noticed yet, it's not a complete guide and it was never supposed to be. It's all a part of the picture. (Look, I may not always sound like I know what I'm doing—but trust me, the wiring's all there. Somewhere.)

Js "A Comprehensive Guide to SC farming" would be correct. Incomprehensive would mean that this guide is not complete.
Kinzis  [author] 22 May @ 4:19am
Sure does. It's about difficulty and mission type affecting the number of points of interests on the map and the loot located inside each POI. Once the rare samples start to kick in, they often take place of super credits, medals and reqs. That's why it's best to farm on 1-2 diffs.

does difficulty affect the amount of credit spawn in map?
