GDF mission #5: THE PASS

Prevent the mission from advancing. Do not destroy the Dynasty infantry outpost.

Steal a Dynasty base so that you can build the salvage van.

Look for a Dynasty tempest rig on the map. Send the salvage van there and salvage those little tempest miners.

The salvage center has a cannon that automatically targets the miners, which can kill the miners before we salvage them. To resolve this, build a friendly building nearby beforehand and force the salvage center to attack the friendly building. Meanwhile, use engineers or a second salvage van to repair the building so it doesn't blow up.



The tempest rig will keep building new miners as you salvage them. Wait until you salvage 25 miners and unlock the achievement.

Do you need a building nearby? Pretty sure there's a force-attack a point button?

This achievement description of the game doesn't specify that the vehicles need to be enemy's.
i spent hours trying to salvage my own vehicles to no avail. I will try this guide soon and hopefully it will make things easier
