Introduction
Hello and Welcome everyone, this is my first guide. In this guide my aim is get you to be able to 1. Edit Craft Files and 2. Add custom decals

Custom Decals Explanation

To anyone that is somewhat unsure of what Custom decals are, they are custom stickers that you can import into the game, for example instead of having the default 'stickers' as i am going to call them to make it easier to understand, you can use you own stickers. For example if you want to put an image of lets say a symbol like a cherry blossom or a sharks mouth on your plane, with the custom decals you can.
Custom Decals allow for Way more customization of aircraft or what ever you are making.
Custom Decals Must be in the .png format.

Editing Craft Files Explanation

To anyone who is unsure to what i mean by Editing Craft Files, the Craft files are the files where all the data about your craft is stored, by changing the Craft Files you can edit parts in the game beyond what you can do in the game. I will explain this more later.

How To Add Custom Decals
What Exactly are Custom Decals?

Custom Decals are stickers you can into the game. The decals the vanilla game has are simple shapes like squares and circles.

If you do not know where the decals are in the game or if your new to the game, the decals are in the Paint tool at the bottom, those shapes at the bottom are the decals.

Custom Decals : Step 1. (Finding the Flyout game Folder)

Ok, so the first thing you need to do is find the image you want in .png format. if you cant find an image, do not worry the Flyout game comes with a few random images in the files.

if you want to get the images from the flyout game files you want to into the library page for flyout.
Then you'll want to click on the cog on the right of the screen.
after you have clicked that it will take you into a menu. the menu will say "add to favorites", "add to","manage" and "properties".
you want to click manage, then you will want to click 'Browse Local Files'
after you have done that it will take you into the file explorer, then you want to click onto the folder that says "Flyout_data", once you have clicked that you should see more folders and stuff.
from there there should be a folder called "StreamingAssets", click onto that, once you have done that you will be what i'm going to call the home. in here there are a lot of folders, but you want to find the file that says textures in there there will be a forest camouflage .png file. you can use that if you don't have an image you want to use.

Once you have an image you can move on to step 2.

Custom Decals : Step 2. (Importing The Image Into The Game)

Now that you have your image, we can now go to the proper game files as i will call them.

the Flyout game files are inside a folder called "Stonext games" the stonext game folder is located in a folder called "LocalLow".
to get to the localLow folder, press the windows key + R , this will open a search bar, in the searchbar you want to type %appdata% this will take you into a folder named roaming, i dont know what the roaming folder is for, but its not the one we we want, so you want to go into the central appdata folder.
in the central appdata folder there will be 3 folders "Local" , "LocalLow" and "Roaming" go into the localow folder, then find the Stonext Games folder, then the Flyout folder.
once you have done that it will bring you into the main game files that we are going to modify.

To add custom decals you must go into the folder simply named "Custom Decals" and past your .png image there.
Finally if your game was running while you were modding it, you will either need to restart it or press the reload button in the Paint menu and it will load the image as the Decal.

That's all you need to do for adding Custom Decals.
How To Edit Craft Files:
In this section i will be explaining what editing the craft files does and how to do it.

What Are The Craft Files?

The Craft Files as i will be calling them are the game files for your vehicle. In these files you can edit the properties of parts on your craft. For example lets say you have a Ramjet, now you want to make the combustion temperature greater than 2500, by editing the Craft Files you can change the combustion temperature to what ever you want, you can even make 1 million if you so wished.
In the Craft Files you can change almost anything, like the caliber of guns temperature of Ramjets and so on. But there are things you cannot change, like for example some of the settings in the Turbine engine, i do not know why but i believe it is something to do with the code of the game, and i have not tried changing or editing that yet.

How To Edit The Craft Files?

In order to edit the Craft file we must go into the stonext games folder, then into the Flyout folder.
(if you don't remember how to get there use the Windows + R shortcut to get to a little search bar then type in %appdata% and find the Localow Folder).
Once you are in the Flyout game Folder find the folder that says Craft.
Finally Once you are in the Craft Folder it will show you all the Crafts that you have made in their separate folders.
After that find the Craft you wish to edit, go into that folder then go into the data.txt file and edit what ever you want to edit.
Now you can 100 caliber guns, or mach 7 ramjets, or whatever you want to make.

Conclusion
Thank you for reading this guide, as i said in the beginning, this is my first ever guide, so if there are any problems or extra information someone wants me to add please just ask.

*Please do note I am using a Windows 10 Pc so if any of the commands are different on other operation systems please inform me*
